This game is amazing. I have only played the original once about a year ago after discovering the soulsborne games, honestly, it's really not as hard as people say. Buy the game you really won't be disappointed! The graphics are phenomenal and the game runs really well, no major issues and I've played about 60 hours or so. For anyone reading this worried about getting into a souls game, prior to playing DS1 last year I'd only ever played Mario games, if I can do it anyone can. Buy, enjoy and git gud. Also, I'd say it's the easiest souls game so a good starting point for any lucky PS5 owner.
Having played the original PS3 game back in the day, I was very much looking forward to get back into the world of Demon's Souls. So, after 10hrs plus in, I can say that I'm extremely satisfied with the work Blue Point made with the remake. The graphics are gorgeous, the sound design is incredibly immersive, the loading times are insanely fast, and even the dualsense controller manages to enhance the playing experience with the haptic feedback. This game is the perfect example of next gen technology in the PS5. Yes, it is a challenging game, but also an incredibly rewarding experience. And once you're fully familiar with the game, you'll receive a lot of replay value from it. Highly recommended!
I can't say this is a bad game, it looks great for sure, but it's BRUTAL as hell. I have a life and a girlfriend - I'd have to give up both to give this game the time that it deserves.
