Definitely worth paying for the genuine article even though there’s cheaper ones that do work. By getting the genuine, there’s no pop ups whilst playing saying you may not be using a genuine PS4 controller and the cheaper ones really don’t last long as battery wear is fast. The original PlayStation controller is a must if you want quality and enjoy your gaming with lengthy battery life and no unwanted pop up messages 10/10
