Must Read for any Church/Kilbey Fan
31 October 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
Must read for any Church fan. Not your "typical" autobiography by a self-professed rock start. To the contrary, Kilbey's account is poignant and sad but ultimately hopeful. I thought I knew everything about the Church but this book offers quite a few surprises, including the person who introduced Kilbey to heroin, the drug that would haunt him for over a decade.

I must say that Steve is quite honest in this book. Just like other reviews, I wish the story continued a bit more. Still a good read. Makes you wonder if he laid off the hard drugs, if some of those mid 90's releases would have been better. I guess the most important thing is he is doing well for himself and his family.
Thanks for the stories

This book was an inside look at an artist who was honest about his processes and learning throughout his life. It is refreshing for a musician to show understanding and growth through the trials of life. There is are many insights into spiritual growth and acceptance of all the bumps a person goes through in life! I highly recommend this to fans of the Church and rock and roll fans!
