2.0 out of 5 starsWish I had known've this was only a short story!

UPDATE: I'm enjoying the story but this book is full of typos!! So many that it actually distracts you from what you're reading. What happened to this author? I really enjoyed the earlier books in the series, but this one (and the tiny little things that were passed off as "books" that follow this one) are really sub-par. I've loved this series since the first sentence of book 1, but today I received the last 5 books in the series and it appears they're all just short stories! How disappointing ... especially since they were the same price as a full book. Some Lycan Hot is only 93 pages!! Really disappointed and feeling just a little bamboozled. Guess the author must've run out of steam after book 9.
1.0 out of 5 starsbut she had no business publishing this garbage. In the 89 page book

I am a Bardsley fan, but she had no business publishing this garbage. In the 89 page book, she has 2 chapters that are exactly the same, one after the other. Several paragraphs are repeated, many spelling and grammatical errors. NO ONE ever read or edited this book before publication. So it's probably really 75 pages of the most disconnected crap I have ever read. One chapter is suddenly a conversation between 3 characters from Broken Heart (the story is not set in Broken Heart) that has nothing to do with any of the characters or the plot. It was like she really didn't have anything to say in this book, so she threw this in for a few more pages. Shame on you, Michele Bardsley! Did you have an extra hour and decide you needed a few more bucks? If my high school students turned this in to me, they would receive an F. I feel extremely ripped off, and will never read another one of your books.
Purchased this as a Christmas gift and she has indicated she is returning. Very disappointing - the book itself is about 1/8" thick - not even a short story. And after speaking with others who have read books in this series, the quality has gone downhill as the books have gotten shorter and quality of writing seems inferior - ghostwriter perhaps? Which is a shame - the beginning of the series was actually quite interesting.
5.0 out of 5 starsSome might Lycan them Hot. I Lycan Broken Heart.

You can read this a stand alone or in sequence. I won this book, (Yay me!) and since I hadn't the first 10 I was worried. But luckily there was no need, as I had no problem following along. Do I wish I had read the first ten books. Sure, some of the characters were in this one, and they were an interesting set of um,.... individuals. So that would be 5 stars on the characters. What a group. Loved them all. I even, almost, kinda like, maybe felt sorry for some of the bad guys, gals.
As to plot or storyline. This was well written, kept me totally enthralled. You got it, that house did not get cleaned, till I finished. (no regrets on my part). A few good twists, that kept you guessing.
Did I mention the hot, yummy males shifters. Hmmm, maybe I was trying to keep them to myself. Strong, but likable female lead. This was an over great read, with lots of love and laughter mixed in. Lust, did I forget the lust. I'm sure I couldn't have forgotten the lust. Well there was plenty of panting, and sighing, licking....... You get the picture.
Now I need to either take a cold shower or find the next book, or in my case the first book in this series to read. But read it you should.
