Product Description

Having hope was her weakness.
If Sadie Mullins hadn’t started to believe in love again, hadn’t let herself fall for him, she wouldn’t be feeling this way.
Wouldn’t have her heart breaking.
Wouldn’t regret meeting West Montgomery.
The cocky bastard should have left her alone, let her forget about him.
Let her move on with her life.
Of course, he didn’t.
That could have been the end of it.
Of course, it wasn’t.
Damn hope.

*This is Book 2 in the Water's Edge Series and is a continuation of Sadie and West's story that began in Wet. This is not a standalone.

Sadie is done with West. Resolved that he's just used up his last chance to prove himself the kind of man she's been hoping he would, its time to move on, and with her upcoming trip to shoot promotional photos for Grady's new resort just around the corner, it couldn't come at a better time.

In the end it doesn't matter if he's got an excuse for his behavior, it doesn't even matter if its a legitimate excuse, since the way their relationship has gone, there has always been the need for excuses, and that's not the kind of relationship she's prepared to settle for. The bottom line is that every time there's something that needs to be excused away ... it hurts, regardless how good the excuse might be after the fact.

This breakup is so very different from the breakup at the beginning of Wet, book one of the Water's Edge series however. Back then despite the upheaval, she was glad to be out, and this time, it hurts so much, because she really wishes that things could have worked out differently.

Soaked by Stacy Kestwick, follows Sadie on her quest to put this latest failed relationship behind her, even as West pulls out all the stops to get her to change her mind. Throw in a handsome stranger, a nightmare from the past, the best of friends and probably too much alcohol and you've got the recipe for a volatile story. Throw Aubrey, West's bitchy ex into the mix and its downright explosive.

I read a lot of stories and very few have major plot twists that catch me completely by surprise but this one did, and as plot twists go, I thought it was clever, timely, worked well with the story and even managed to be somewhat educational without getting preachy.

I woke up this morning excited to read this follow up book to wet. I was a little disappointed I felt this book was just one giant Sadie pity party and your sitting on the side line shouting " build a bridge woman" how many times does it take for a man to show he loves you. So yeah I kind of got over Sadie quickly. West was amazing as always as was Grady, rue and Theo. The thing with nick I don't know why that was even put in the book it kind of made me cringe. Aubrey just reminded of an annoying mosquito lol. This book is very well written and I think the continuing series will be amazing. Hats off to Stacey for all her hard work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sadie's done with West ... or is she? 22 March 2016

Beyond that, the story was well paced, moving from angsty through funny, awkward, suspenseful, sad, and extremely hot while keeping a hopeful tone throughout. Read through in one sitting and thankfully, no cliffhanger at the end this book had me feeling the joy of life and just warm fuzzies all over

For fans there are plenty of hooks tossed out along the way to be picked up regarding the minor characters setting the scene for other books in the series to pick up on, and I for one am looking forward to see what comes next.

3.0 out of 5 stars Soaked 1 April 2016

I have been eagerly waiting to read the sequel to "Wet". The cliff hanger it ended on had me doubting and changing my opinion of West I just needed to know what happened!!

The Prologue was perfect, told from West's POV and it immediately cleared up what Sadie witnessed at the conclusion on Wet. Phew! I breathed a sigh of relief and thought there will be no drama for drama sake here - or so I hoped.

Sadly I thought Sadie was a different character in this book and her insecurities and doubts I didn't feel were justified. I thought West was very clear in his actions and words and could not have done any more to convince Sadie of his love for her. When Sadie finally let him back in I don't really know what made that penny drop for her but I said to myself - finally and thank goodness!!!

I didn't know what to expect with this book, I was just so happy to read it because of how much I enjoyed Wet and thought I would be getting more of the same. Unfortunately where it went was not something I would say appealed to me. I am all about the angst and anticipation and love that in my books but the hero and the heroine spent most of the book apart for what I don't feel were valid reasons.

West and the supporting characters made this book for me.

Ms Kestwick writing was strong just like in Wet and despite my not connecting with Sadie in this book, I will be continuing with the series.I like the authors style and I am keen to find out about what is really going on between Rue and Grady.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Wait!!! 22 March 2016

I have been very impatiently waiting for the next installment in this series by Stacy Kestwick. I was entranced and deeply invested in Wet when it ended on a cliffhanger. It left one helluva book hangover that I have never gotten over until now. It was totally worth the wait. Stacy does not disappoint. This is definitely my favorite series. I am a huge fan and will follow Stacy to the ends of the earth. I love West despite where Wet left off. Sadie's journey to self discovery and strength was great in this story. Do yourself a favor and read this series. You will be glad you did. Now I am very impatiently waiting for Hot!

5.0 out of 5 stars Paper Airplanes and True Love 23 March 2016

Stacy could not have done more perfect job finishing West and Sadie's story. I was truly concerned she might leave us all hanging again but the ending could not have been better. I was a little shocked by some of the drama that occurs and my heart hurt for Sadie as some points but that didn't deter me from finishing. West is such a romantic and the one of the hottest book boyfriends you'll ever meet. Even if you do want to smack him sometimes. One Click Now!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars I very much enjoyed reading Soaked by Stacy 25 March 2016

I very much enjoyed reading Soaked by Stacy. It was 4.5 stars for me.
I am very happy to finally know what happened with Sadie & West.
Even though everything wasn't what it seemed - when the heart hurts, it hurts.
After taking this new job that is away for a couple weeks Grady introduces her to Nick, and he is something else. He will bring out a side of her that you will definitely not want to miss reading about.
While she is there, though, not only will she be dealing with her EMOTIONAL state with West, but her ex-boyfriend will do something to her that will make you want to punch his lights out. Aubrey is still mean and all she cares about is herself. You will want to punch her in the face, so that her face will match her heart- UGLY is what is she.
Through all of this Sadie will have to decide if she can love and be loved by West. She will also have to decide if she can move past all Aubrey's crap.
West will have to figure out how to win her heart and prove to her that he plans on keeping it.
Sadie has a lot to deal with and Rue is always there to support her in every way. I just love Rue. Speaking of Rue what is up with her and Grady, and speaking of Grady how much more will Sadie and Nick be working together?? I'm pretty sure West isn't going to have it! Do we even like Nick?
I don't know these answers to these questions, but it just makes me wonder what is in store for us next!
