I love it. Cook times were fine

Ordered this as a last-minute purchase for a backpacking trip after deciding I needed a cook SET rather than just my solo MSR Titan. I love it. Cook times were fine, even above 12,000 ft. Accidentally scorched some pasta once and still didn't have much trouble cleaning the pot. Everything stacks into each other, with enough room to put my MicroRocket stove (without case), piezo lighter, backup lighter, little bottle of soap, hand sanitizer, and foldable spork inside, with the pan on top as a lid. Mesh bag also a plus. This set and my Snow Peak H450 double walled mug are really everything I could ever want out on the trail. Suits my needs.
Can't beat it

This may just be the perfect design for the solo backpacker, bikepacker, or bike tourer. Three pieces; cup, bowl/pot, and plate/frying pan. Minimalists might give you a hard time, but if you've ever picked wild berries, you know you have to make pancakes. (I think it's the law in some states!) Excellent grade titanium, sturdy wire handles, and good fittings and welds. Easy to handle with gloved hands. The kit nests together. You can fit the very small iso-gas can inside, but for longer trips, I just keep my spices in there. If you're carrying larger pots as part of gang duty, this set won't add any noticeable weight to your pack. No matter how much you add to your gear over the years, get this set first. You'll be glad you did.
Great set for the price!

For a stove I use the Snow Peak LiteMax stove and I noticed that with the 600 and 700 mugs/pots that the heat was going around the pot and being wasted. With this 3 piece set I noticed that the wider bowl base has more contact with the stove flame and boiling water much faster. I don't know how much I would use the smaller bowl but the pan is nice for placing dry food in or using it as a plate.
the little pots that could.

bought this set and laughed when I got them, as o thought I was shopping in the you section....lol. however, I was surprised how well it did. I made spaghetti in the set, and steak and taters at another time. my two complaints are, it needs to be bigger, and grab two sets of you want variety of things to eat.
just fine. Tougher

All a solo hiker needs. A small gas cylinder (minus plastic cap) fits inside, upside down, just fine. Tougher, more dent-resistant than aluminum; plus titanium's arguably a healthier cooking material.
