Product Description

SnoozeShade was invented by a mum just like you!

I invented the first SnoozeShade to help my own daughter get the sleep she needed when we were out and about. SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe came about when parents asked for a sunshade that their little one could see out of when awake, and could also be used as a sleep aid when it was time for a nap. I hope it helps you.

Keep baby safely shaded from the sun:

SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe is a universal fit sun and sleep shade that blocks up to 97.5% of UV. It shades your child from overhead, front and side sun. The single layer mesh window filters 80% of UV and keeps sun out of little eyes.

It’s a fantastic baby sleep shade and buggy sun shade that protects little ones from wind, chill, cats, mosquitos and even light rain. It makes popping to the shops, days and meals out with a baby easier. It’s a great holiday and travel accessory.

Who it’s for:

We recommend SnoozeShade Plus or Plus Deluxe once baby is sitting up, wants to see out or is 6 months old - whichever happens first.

Run by real mums

The business is run by Cara and a small team of mums. We all know what it feels like when you need an answer about something you are buying for your baby. We genuinely want you to be happy with your SnoozeShade and will always help

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Australian sun. Snoozeshade WITH a wet Musluv.
By Patricia N. on 19 September 2021
Can it get hot in a pram/stroller using this product? Yes, but keeping strollers cool is ALWAYS a challenge.
I’m a Nanna using 6 different strollers. I haven’t tried it with the 2 ‘carry on’ strollers but I have used my pair of single covers with 2 very different single strollers and 2 very different twin strollers.
I’ve been using the Musluv (sometimes wet) for years… so frustrating moving it left / right/ up / down.
Then I discovered Snooze Shield. BUT the strollers still heated up ‘a bit’ via the pram structures, mostly the hoods. Adding a wet Musluv over the hood with all hood vents open has an air conditioning affect.
The Musluv is a double thickness muslin with ties. It hold water as well as a towel.
Don’t worry about your stroller getting damp, they are designed to go out in the rain.
The only improvements that I can think of for this wonderful product are longer zips to get tall children in and a clip off sleep cover option, the zip is great but we don’t use it and I’m tempted to cut it off but that would be a crime.
I actually found this when searching for fabric to design my own.
When I’ve saved my pennies I will be buying more of them - 2 would do it, 4 would mean leaving them permanently attached to the main prams.

5.0 out of 5 stars So versatile! A baby necessity!

I love the snoozeshade! My baby struggles to nap in daylight so this is a godsend! It blacks out the inside of the pram but keeps it cool too!
I also used it for a long haul flight to enable my baby to get to sleep easily! I bought a cheap travel mobile so that the shade was lifted from the baby, attached this to the airline bassinet and then used the snoozeshade to block out the bright lights of the plane! I was pretty stressed about the flight but didn’t need to be as she napped perfectly!
It was also a must have for when we were on holiday!

5.0 out of 5 stars It took me 7 months to decide to buy. Don't wait - DO IT NOW

My lockdown baby didn't really develop the need to be a flexible sleeper and only really slept in her cot for her naps (car in the early days but this is hit and miss now). As life has opened up again, napping on the go has been a DISASTER. She grew out of napping in her pram age 3 months and will just cry and cry and cry no matter how tired she is. It's meant a lot of planning around her naps which can limit social options and experiences.
I spent about 7 months deliberating whether or not to buy this snoozeshade, I just thought it can't possibly work. Today we went to a farm park and she was clearly tired so I whipped out the snoozeshade. She cried a bit (but not to screaming level), I did two laps of the car park and she was quiet and then just fell asleep. You might see in the photo a few high chairs in the background - we were sat next to a table of 4 VERY loud children with blaring devices and I'd have put good money on that being an impossible environment to fall asleep in... but she really did.
I'm also a very strong believer in her need for blackout and I don't think this was but it was clearly dark enough for her. She also fell asleep without her dummy in which is just another sleep crutch not needed.
It was a bit windy out and the fabric flapped about a little as it's SO light but it didn't make any noise like some materials might.
The bag this comes in and the way it can just be thrown/scrunched/screwed up into it in a second means it so worth having 'just in case' and it'll cost you no space.
I'm trying not to dwell on how different so many experiences could have been if I had just bought this sooner. So if you're on the fence, just do it!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile, good protection and reassuring!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 August 2020
I did my research on sunshades, but kept coming back to the reassurance of this one being tried and tested, and versatile. I bought the 6+ Deluxe, even though our baby was only 2 months. It still fitted on top of the bassinet (over the hood and then handlebars) and also on the pushchair pram.
So far I am impressed and glad we got it. By putting it over the hood and handle bars it blocks the sun from whatever the direction, so not need to fiddle with a Parasol, so you feel much more relaxed that baby is protected. The way we have attached it also means there are bigger air holes, as my biggest fear/hesitation was the heat building up inside; it also mean we could peak in to check on her without moving anything.
Being a geek, I took a room thermostat out (apparently not as accurate outside) to test the heat inside the pram. In full sun on a hot UK day, outside it registered 27.5 and inside registered as 27.3. So not much different, but not hotter, which reassured me. Giving her air holes (rather than securing and wrapping around the hole pram) reassured us anyway and obviously whilst moving, you are naturally creating more air flow. Also, because we hook it on the handle bar, when we were in shade it was easy just to fold the cover back over the hood.
Also provided a good blackout effect when baby was sleeping. Easy to put on and off and folds down very small to stuff in a bag. Very lightweight.
Would definitely recommend and really like it’s versatility.
Only 4 star as it’s not the most glamours looking thing (not that this matters over baby safety) and it is weird not being able to see baby when it’s on (although I appreciate that it is difficult to change without compromising sun protection).
