I really enjoyed reading this book. In a way it reminded me of the story Cinderella.
You have Cricket who is a hard working puppy loving girl who finds herself in a "bending the truth to suit yourself" moment which leads her to find her prince charming in Talbot.
You will love the chemistry, drama and love.
I am glad that Cricket and Talbot get a their happy ever after. Welcome to the family Slick. Hopefully one day you will get to meet Pixy.
I was given a ARC of this book for an honest review.

Mika was a new author to me, I loved this book and her writing style. Talbot and Cricket have a fun, sweet story. It is enjoyable, adorable and had me quickly turning the pages. It's a quick read, that packs a punch.

Awkward and cuteReviewed in the United States on 15 June 2020
Cricket and Talbot were an interesting couple. Their story is full of humor, awkwardness (I am always down for some awkward people!), and romance. I love that Cricket went to school to be a journalist and change the world, and here she is, writing obituaries for the last three years. It sounds like the type of situation so many college kids find themselves in. I liked what it brought to the story, with her very determined to get a huge interview. I recommend reading this!
