It's soft against your eyes, wraps around your ears, comes with decent earplugs which can help you drift off into an undisturbed land of nod for a sleep which feels like a one week holiday. Very restful sleep can be had with this sleep mask.
The soft material will leak the blue dye onto your pillowcase, so be mindful of which pillowcase you use for the first few nights of sleep, especially in hotter summer nights. I have not tried to wash the mask as yet, I'd suggest a cold hand wash initially/

Improvements for future versions: leave out the earplugs -- a single pair, which would last me a single night, are pointless. Movement: the mask does tend to move if worn all night in bed, though if it is fastened tightly enough this can be avoided. Doing so can result in pressure on the eyes however, so anything you can do to reduce movement of the item during the night would be an improvement. Still better than any other I've tried in this respect. Finally: washability. It doesn't seem like using a fabric which is machine washable would be such a challenge. If worn frequently this should be washed (like any fabric which comes into contact with the face) and hand washing is a nuisance.
However it DOES move around (it has a single velcro strap so seems to slide about no matter how tight i make it).
Also; It doesn’t make it clear that the noise reduction is achieved via wearing earplugs, not the mask itself, which i was very disappointed by. I have earplugs already but find them uncomfortable to wear. I thought this would mean i could go earplug free.
All in all, a nice mask but not worth £25!
It slides around a little and you will likely wake up due to light slipping in after a few hours of sleep. But if you are used to sleeping with a mask this should be a minor issue. All masks tend to move a little. Readjust them and go back to sleep.
The fabric is soft, but gets worn fairly quickly, leaving little threads sticking out (not from the seam, from the actual fabric). This may be annoying if you are sensitive, and make you scratch your nose and face all night. Also the fabric will leak colour even after the first wash. It turned my pillow-cover green along the side I sleep on.
Summary: It's an ok product. But a bit pricey for what you get.
Update: This is the second one I've bought, 14 months after the first one. The First one is still perfect after 14 months daily use and it's been all over the world. I loved it so much I now have one to travel with and one that stays at home. 100% would recommend.
Update 3: I bought a 3rd one after losing my travelling one at an airport security check lol.
An absolute God-send in getting enough rest, particularly being a night shift worker.
Why not 5 stars? I'm glad you asked. The goodie at the back where the mask joins could be a little flatter. It makes a tiny bump. I have no idea what the solution is, I've been pondering it. I think it's the kind of thing one must just tell engineering to fix.
