Product Description

When Michael “Sixx” Gentry lost control of the beast inside, he walked away from the best thing to happen to him in 500 years.

Twenty-four years later, someone points out that Sixx has a doppelgänger. When he hears the man’s name, Sixx realizes twenty-four years too late that the best thing to ever happen to him had been pregnant with his son when he walked away.

Sixx makes the trip across the country to face someone more terrifying than any Gargoyle he’s ever come up against – the mate he left behind. Desirae Rothchild, love of his life and mother to his son, is one feisty human. When she learns the truth of why Sixx left, will she forgive him? Hell, will she even believe him?

If Desirae were his only obstacle, Sixx might be successful in his journey. But when the Greek King is hell bent on seeking retribution, Sixx’s family is caught in the cross-fire. Sixx and Desirae must work together with the help of his Clan to save the one person who means everything to them both – their son.

Book 7 in the Stone Society takes you from New Atlanta across the country to California where you are reunited with familiar faces as well as introduced to new ones.

the fates knew what they were doing. She really was perfect for him. WHAT THE HOLY & UNHOLY?!? Talk about one helluva ROCK HARD, SHIFTERRIFIC GARGOYLELICIOUS book! Everything - and I do mean EVERYTHING - had me entranced, captivated, mesmerized, hooked and fixated on this book and the story it had to tell! And what a STONETACULAR story it is! I was gasping, smiling, laughing, panting, fretting, panicking, lusting, growling, and...well you get the idea! HOLY RAE ON A SIXX!! I love, Love, LOVE the Gargoyle part!! Sixx is one character that didn't stand out to me in any way in prior books, or at least not until he realized he had a Mate and a son! But now reading & getting to know Sixx, all I can think is "WOW! Michael is one SIXXY Gargoyle that I have fallen HARD for!!" No worries Rae, he's all yours! But if he wasn't... *wink* Just saying. :-) Michael "Sixx" Gentry is pretty much the exact kind of man that I would do any & everything for & to! *naughty grin* So many surprises & shocks, mysteries & secrets, mixed with so much love, friends, family, mates, bad guys, enemies, hatred, and oh so much more! My jaw is sore from dropping so many times & hanging open for long periods of time! This series tends to do that to me, but for some reason, Sixx's story even more so! I LOVE this book & series so freakin' much it's unbelievable! The shift that went down in this ENTIRE book was both crazy & awesome! No matter how much I believed that this would happen, that wouldn't, no way did that person do that, etc. NOT. ONE. SINGLE. time was I right! Which in my opinion is one of many FANGTASTIC features to the book & series, because it shows just how creative, unique, original and unpredictable it all is!Read more ›

I love Faith Gibson’s The Stone Society, these gargoyles rock! What is so great about this series is that you really get to know all the characters and every time you read one book you see the characters from the other previous books and every book is about one of them. There is action and such a deep passion in family, brotherhood, friendship and love, but most important, there is a great storyline that bleeds into every single book you read… They get to be your family and you never forget the main objectives of the Stone Society. They are one big happy and not so happy family.

Gargoyle Michael Gentry (Sixx) found out in the previous book that he has a son out there and this has him revisiting a time 24 years ago when he fell in love with a feisty, surfboarding beauty that he never forgot. When he bit her one night in a moment of passionate frenzy, he ran afraid of what he had done, not knowing that she was his mate… Back then gargoyle didn’t know they could be mated to humans. Now he must find her, woo her and do his damnest to explain and win her back.. Plus he has a son that could be his twin and he yearns to have what he never thought possible, a family.

Desirae never forgot the man who stole her heart and disappeared from her life, he left and never contacted her again for 24 years. Everytime she looks at her son Desi, she remembers the love of her life. Will she be able to forgive Michael after leaving and ruining her for any other? Will he be able to make up for all the years she has lost in seclusion because of a bite?

In the meantime, the Stone Society must continue to pick up the pieces in New Atlanta caused by the Greek King.. It has even affected Sixx and his new found family. Will the Stone Society have to rid themselves of King Rafael’s uncle once and for all?

Another great book!

the 7th in the series and a little disappointing I am afraid... sure there is beautifully crafted characters and the story continues to roll at a fast pace.. but this booked lacked depth for my money.. sure the hero had the obligatory 6 pack and was madly in love with his leading lady.. but the bad guys this time seemed a bit lacking.. the second string lackies clearly .. as a result this episode lacked the intensity and edge of the seat thrills of the other books. Other loved Clan members.. another 6 pack.. appear towards the end which certainly increases the humour / interest level.. the ongoing back story continues to develop and at times seems more interesting than the main story which is a bit frustrating... anyway still worth a read.. and its fun trying to work out what will happen next and whose story were going to discover..

5.0 out of 5 stars Sixx (The Stone Society) (Volume 7) 7 July 2016

I love, love, love Sixx! Once I started reading I couldn’t quit. I sat and read this book straight through. Faith Gibson with each and every one of your books I fall more and more in love with each of these sexy hunky alpha Gargoyles! I can honestly say that I am addicted to this series and it is so hard for me to wait until the next book comes out. When Faith Gibson started talking about the concept of Gargoyles as being the lead characters I thought she was crazy. Now I think she is a genius! Faith Gibson writes in other genres but, this series & genre are my favorite!

This is Sixx’s (Michael) and Desirae’s story and they have a son Desi. Sixx didn’t know he had a son for 24 years but, he sees a pic that looks just like himself and there the story goes on from there. I can’t tell you anymore you really need to read this book. But, do yourself a favor start from the beginning of Stone Society Series.

1.0 out of 5 stars The female leads are total pushovers. 23 June 2017
By Rhawna - Published on Amazon.com

In pretty much every book in this series, we've seen either the male leads or the antagonist pull some seriously jacked up things on their "mates". Within minutes/hours/a couple days at the *most*, the female leads just roll over. Beaten? Tortured? Raped? Abandoned? Betrayed? We've seen it all in this series! The serious transgressions and hurts are never actually broken down and discussed or resolved. There is just a mash up of hormones and sex, as though hormones and sex are going to resolve major issues in a relationship, restore trust in your partner, and right all wrongs.

**** SPOILER ****
I stopped reading this book the first page of Chapter Eleven. What happens on that page, you ask? Sixx, who walked out on Rae 24 years ago without glancing back once, not a single time!, has just come face to face with Rae for the first time. Within minutes, RAE initiates a kiss, and holds him in place for sexy times. He left her, disconnected his phone, she raised his child ALONE, and we want to go there in 10 minutes?

Excuse: Oh, it was the mating bond! It's just so strong, they can't control themselves!

Sixx just spent the last week within easy reach of Rae. Heck, they were on the SAME beach, he was just outside her house. He had zero problems controlling the mating bond and moving about his day. How long exactly did he even put off this little trip to go collect his wayward mate and THE SON HE HAS NEVER MET? Since book 2 you say? Uncontrollable needs and mating bonds, eh? And how exactly did he manage to stay away for 24 years, ignoring this raging mating bond?

She immediately jumps into "oh, I'm not good enough for this god of a man who has done me nothing but wrong! Why on earth would he ever want to be with someone like me? I'm clearly lacking". Seriousface? This is your go to response to coming face to face with your baby daddy after 24 years?

He throws away the roses that some other dude sends her (again, first visit, within the first 20 minutes!), like he has a right to her, her property, her home. And her response? "Would you like a drink?"

The internal monologue she has going on? Absolutely pathetic. "The kind of goodness he had inside him didn't just go away". The kind of goodness that had him walk out on you. That wouldn't let him tell you anything at all about himself. You let him wham, bam, thank you ma'am for months! It wasn't a relationship, because he never actually conversed with her or told her anything about himself (these are HER words by the way, not mine). Really stellar person there, yeah? Absolutely, dive head over heels back into that first chance.

What in the actual what is going on here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this one!! 2 January 2017

Wow! I think this one is one of my favorites next to Rafael. I put off buying this book for the longest time because I'm really not a fan of storylines with a 24 year gap between the times the characters meet. The longer the time period, the less interested I am in reading. So I'm into instant gratification with these books, eh. Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised with how the story turned out and loose ends do get to be tied up, somewhat. Alistair is still on the loose (sorry) and there are a few more new characters introduced (as if we need more) but the good news is at the end of the book you get a summary of all the characters and how the Goyles are related as well mates and children. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like about this story, is that Rae was too quick to forgive Michael. After 24 years and he only goes looking for Rae when he discovers he has a son? The man had the means for years to look up Rae and never did but still claimed to love her as his mate. Probably would found out much sooner he had a son. I'd be slamming the door in his face and refuse to have anything to do with him other to keep my son safe. Either way, that was my only complaint, I wouldn't be quite as forgiving. Otherwise, you'll enjoy this installment. And, yes, previous clan members and mates make appearances here because, of course, they are a close knit clan and when one needs help, they all help out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy Surfer and a Rockstar... yum 15 August 2016

Faith Gibson has done it again! Sixx is the latest installment of the Stone Society Series and it lives up to the strong legacy of its predecessors.

Sixx is the story of Michael “Sixx” Gentry and his search for his mate. After seeing a photograph of a young up and coming rockstar, Sixx believes he’s already found and walked away from his mate. With a war between the various factions of the Gargoyle eminent, Sixx must tread carefully in his desire to reconnect with his long lost love, Desirae.

This book will take you through every emotion from hope and longing to fear and lust. There isn’t a Stone (pun intended) left unturned as the search for love, a family and future lay at the fingertips of this gorgeous, surfer turned finance wiz.

Oh and, did I mention the further revalations about the mysterious and brooding Uri? Yeah, Faith's knack for interweaving future storylines while keeping them in line with the current story is remarkable. She has once again left me on the edge of my seat waiting (not so patiently) for the next book.

Join me and the multitudes of others who have fallen in love with the Gargoyles and their mates. I highly recommend Sixx to anyone who enjoys a good love story packed with action, intrigue and sexy fun characters.

Without question, I give this book 5 stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the series and this book! 12 July 2016

I can't begin to say how much I love this book and the entire series. Six is a true alpha male Gargoyle. He made an honest mistake with his mate, and 24 years later, realizes he has a rock star son who looks just like a brother (because Gargoyles don't age after they mature ). This is a great story involving this great clan of Gargoyles and what a great family they are, related or not. Six has a lot of explaining and groveling to do in order to keep his mate and son. Many of of clan get together because of another of Alistair's attempts to kill one of the clan. There is always so much love and respect with this group, as well as fun, laughter and some really steamy sex! Some surprises in this book about not only Sixx and Rae's family, but a few others in the Clan. I love how they interact and how close and protective of each and every one. I barely put it down to sleep, because just had to know what happens next. I can't wait for the next book and it can't come fast enough for me. I so recommend reading this series from the beginning.........you won't be sorry. Please keep writing, Faith. I have a few major favorite series, and The Stone Society is right up there at the top.
