Sirona is a well-known healer of the Cleary Clan. But she must live alone in the forest to avoid the fear and distrust of her people. Her lonely existence makes it easy for the rival clan Comyn to kidnap her away to their keep. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Fabulous Love Story for the Ages! 26 August 2015

From the start, this story had me on the edge of my seat. A beautifully written story with some twists, and I loved Rhain and Sirona. I was so engaged with the characters that when the story ended, I wanted more--I longed to continue with them on their journey. Bravo, Ms. Lynn. I'm looking forward to the next in this wonderful series.
3.0 out of 5 stars Healer in the Highlands 8 October 2016

This is the second installment of Gods in the Highlands and continues the unfortunate habit of coming to the end needing two or three extra chapters. I would have preferred more character development and understanding. I read all four of the series and did enjoy them, but I would have given it four stars if I did not feel something more should have been included.

4.0 out of 5 stars I would recommend this book to anyone that likes historical 30 July 2015

I received this book from United Indie Book Blog for an honest review.
Right from the beginning I was pulled into Sirona. Sirona is an outcast in her clan and when taken by an enemy clan fears for her life. This book is a quick read and felt a little rushed. The characters and storyline are developed enough that you feel with the characters and understand the storyline. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes historical, romance with highland men and a touch of paranormal.

4.0 out of 5 stars review of Sirona 21 December 2015

This second book by Ms. Bambi Lynn is surprisingly good! I am highly invested in all the characters and the wonderful stories that she is spinning. The story and series seems to have all the requirements to not only be a great paranormal but making me a very happy reader as well there are gods, goddesses, highlanders, magic and everyday people too. Even though I am reading these books in sequence I think you can read them as a standalone without getting lost since it is not really a continuation of the story but about different characters.
Sirona has been happily hiding from the outside world in the forest and her cottage due to her heathen goddess like healing powers of touch. Sirona is forcibly taken to an enemy rival clan to use her powers to save the enemy’s son Rhain from dying.
***Minor Spoilers***
We were first introduced to Sirona in the previous book Camulus which I didn’t really care for her all that much because she didn’t seem like such a nice person but then again I didn’t really know her so I felt a little bad for judging her a little harshly. I guess I just had this feeling that she had no regard for anyone’s feelings maybe it’s has to do with her being a goddess and all. In this book I understood her a little bit better and I think that Sirona despised her powers and seemed much more relatable than Camulus desiring to be more human but poorly misunderstood. I wondered what disease Rhain exactly had and what herbs Sirona used to heal him. This was because I was just curious being around medicine it still didn’t impede or slow down the story. I really wanted more into who Ty actually is I really liked his character and was beginning to speculate that maybe he is actually Lucan’s twin or brother of some sort. I really hope Ms. Lynn will tell his story too. I guess I wasn’t really ready for the story to be over yet. I still enjoyed it rated it four stars and can’t wait to read more in this exciting series!

I enjoyed this story. It's a little different from what I normally read, but still good. This was given to me as a gift, I'm glad I read it.
