Product Description

When Coast Guard rescue swimmer Kaleb Theldon sees what he's sure is a mermaid pulling his partner into the murky depths of the Bering Sea, his superiors call it PTSD. In order to save his career, Kaleb agrees to a week at an island spa off the coast of Maine. But the spa is nothing like he expected, and he isn't prepared for the sexy Siren that crosses his path. But will her passion be more than one mere human can take?

Serena has a problem, and after four previous visits to the Wiccan Haus, she'd expected things to get easier. But on the mermaid’s fifth visit, Kaleb walks in, and everything in her life becomes complicated. Never has she wanted to mate with a human man before. But can she keep her true self secret while she loves a man who has a chip on his shoulder a league long when it comes to mermaids?

And will loving him prove deadly?

This time, the staff has more than healing on their agenda. The siblings, Myron, and Rekkus must prove to these two lovers that things aren't always how they appear on the surface. Or Kaleb's demise might be found in his Siren's Serenade.

Welcome back to the Wiccan Haus.

Title:               Siren's Serenade
                       Wiccan Haus Series
Author:           Dominique Eastwick

Ms. Eastwick is a mastermind, of this series of this island with fog around it is very special. All the Magic....
Serena was running from her mother who wanted her to step up and be ready to take the crown. She was a Siren she was to sing to call a human male to get her pregnant and then she would kill the male for his soul for her baby. BUT Serena couldn't do it and she hated her mother for insisting do this hated deed. Serena's mom gave her one year to come to terms with her duty, so Serena went and stayed on the island of the Wiccan Haus Resort.
Kaleb Theldon worked in Search and Rescue, for the Coast Guard in Alaska, but they put him on leave and sent him to
Wiccan Haus Resort, he knew they all thought he was crazy. After all how many people see their best friend in the sea being murdered by a mermaid. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

This is a wonderful series. I love the new characters each book gives us and the fact that the characters from previous books also make appearances. The stories are so unique, engaging, exciting and original. Each author gives their own spin on the world of Wiccan Haus. Building upon the previous work of the other authors as well as adding their own piece to the world of Wiccan Haus. In this book we get the story of Serena who is a mermaid and Kaleb Theldon who is there recovering from PTSD after seeing his partner attacked and carried off by mermaids.

After reading the first three books in this series I had some expectations before I ever cracked the spine of this one… umm can you crack a spine on an ebook? Ah well, I’m sure you all know what I mean. I’ve come to expect great secondary characters that stay true to their original type casting no matter the author. I expect the healing magic of an enchanted island beyond the realm of the mundane. I expect a magically healing love between two great leads. Of course, I say two but sometimes you get more than you bargained for. In the case of a Siren’s Serenade you get the siren princess, Serena and a coast guard rescuer, Kaleb Theldon.

Serena has been foretold to be the heir apparent to her mother’s Mer kingdom, something she would rather do without, especially if it entails luring human men to a watery grave with her siren’s song. To make matters worse her mother has given her a year to become pregnant or she will be forced. When pregnancy comes at the cost of a human’s sole, it’s one curse she would rather avoid. Wiccan Haus promises a possible cure from the curse. Unfortunately, the cure continues to elude her. Then temptation and perhaps salvation is put in her path in the form of Kaleb. This one human male tempts her as no paranormal man ever has. Even as tempting as he is she knows that each time she is with him is a risk of a very deadly nature for Kaleb. Sometimes though you learn you can love enough to walk away and sometimes, love transcends the need to.

Kaleb has been sent to Wiccan Haus to recover from PTSD at seeing his partner dragged to the watery depths of the Bering Sea by a mermaid. Obviously, his superiors are questioning his sanity and ability to return to work.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review

This is the fourth book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. This series is written by several authors. This is Dominique’s 2nd book in the series. She also wrote book 1.

I love Dominique’s writing style, and I always feel like I have the whole story and nothing was rushed. I also love that you have a bit of after the happily ever after to know what happens to them, and it doesn’t leave you wondering what happened to them.

I love Serena’s sense of right and wrong and that she will not back down from what she feels is right. Kaleb has things to work through and a lot to learn. They make a great pair, and I love having more of Rekkus and Dana in this book. I can’t wait to see what happens next at Wiccan Haus.

I highly recommend this story to any paranormal fans of mermaids, shifters, and this series!

Another amazing edition to the Wiccan Haus series. This is fast becoming one of my favourite para/shifter series! Dominique has such talent. Each chapter draws you further into the story.
Kaleb is sent to Wiccan Haus to recoup from work when he meets a beautiful enchantress. Serena, is returning for another stay at Wiccan Haus to keep away from her mother and the throne. When the two meet and grow fond of one another. Can Kaleb ever have a romance with the siren? Absolutely love this book and the series. So many talented authors sharing their stories in it.

I am loving these Wiccan Haus characters more and more each time a read one of these books! To be a Siren and be able to lure any man you want into your arms....<'sigh'>

That is Serena's Curse, yes to her it is because the price to pay is very steep and she won't do it. So she goes to Wiccan Haus in hopes they may be able to help her, but what she finds there is not a cure, it's Kaleb and she uses all her willpower to stay away from him. Can this human withstand the song of the Siren?

Kaleb works Search & rescue for the Coast Guard in Alaska ad his Superiors order him to go to Wiccan Haus for some R&R cause they think he is seeing things and crazy and he has to go, or he may not have a job anymore...When he arrives there he starts to see and hear things, he believes maybe they sent him here because this is Crazy Haus!

Very, very enjoyable story. I love these characters and now they even have a were shark female, I love her although you don't see much of her in this story, I'm sure she'll be around Wiccan Haus in the future. Let's not forget the super hot Rekkus...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wiccan Haus Scores Again! 18 July 2012

Well, I wrote this really wonderful, erudite review of this book and my computer crashed and I lost it before I posted it. :( So let me sum up.

I LOVE Wiccan Haus books! The world is so compellingly designed with enough interesting regular characters to provide continuity and such a fun concept for Paranormal Romance! What could be more fun than a magical New England spa that caters to paranormals in need of healing and stress relief along with unsuspecting humans? Dominique Eastwick penned the initial book, Shifting Hearts, and follows up here in book 4 with a new couple.

Serena, the sexy mermaid, made her initial appearance in book 1, but is back for some healing and romance of her own. I simply adore her. She is such a fun mix of ingenue and siren (literally!). And her love interest Kaleb the sexy Coast Guard swimmer has plenty of reasons to distrust a mermaid. I totally enjoyed watching them get over themselves in order to come together as a very real couple.

But the real strength of the book lies in its the development of the secondary characters and fleshing out the world of Wiccan Haus. Our mermaid antagonists come out of a wonderfully drawn culture and social structure that provides the conflict. Even the were-sharks, though really awful, have reasons for their actions that come directly out of their paranormal nature. I really did enjoy those elements of the book very much.

So if you have a crush on Rekkus or Cyrus, I know I do, you'll love Kaleb and the newest installment to the Wiccan Haus series. I haven't missed one!!
