Product Description

Intense. Devoted. Protective.
Michael Sloan is all of the above, with a hard tough edge to boot. He's not the guy he used to be. Years ago, before all the s&%t went down, he was laidback, carefree, and even happy-go-lucky.
Life changed him. Hardened him.
There's one woman though who can break down his walls. Someone who knew him then. Who can reach inside to that heart he protects fiercely...because she's the only one he ever gave it to. When they collide, it's tender and savage, gentle and rough, and makes them both hungry for more of this electric, once-in-a-blue moon kind of sexual chemistry. But it's a battle of wills between Michael and the woman he loves, with words and emotions held close to the vest.
She doesn't believe she can ever move on from her own heartbreak, but when Michael makes her feel for the first time in years, it's both thrilling and scares the hell out of her, setting off all her flight instincts. He's determined not to lose her again, but he'll have to learn to let her in if he ever wants to fully heal from the past...
The problem is, she knows something about the night his family shattered. She has the missing puzzle piece...but neither one of them realizes it.
SINFUL LOVE is the fourth and final book in the steamy, sexy, suspenseful New York Times Bestselling Sinful Nights series from Lauren Blakely, author of the wildly popular Seductive Nights series...

A stunning, fast paced conclusion to this awesome series! Finally, we get the answers to the mystery that started from the first book, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. Lauren Blakely is pure brilliance as she immerses the reader in a world of greed, second chance love and justice. I am sad that this series has come to an end but can't wait for what Ms. Blakely's has in store for us next!

The Sinful Nights series is by far some of Lauren Blakely's best writing to date. The way she has seamlessly combined sexy romance that always has plenty of heart with a secondary story involving murder for hire is beyond brilliant. I have devoured every single word, fallen for each and every hero and even now wouldn't mind starting all over again. Yup it's that good.

With Sinful Love, it's finally Michael Sloan's turn. The oldest of the 4 siblings, he has always been the caretaker, the one who shielded his brothers and sister when everything changed and the Sloan family's world was turned upside-down because of their mother's very costly mistakes. As his world imploded, so did his heart when the girl he loved went back to her native France and he lost her forever. Or so he thought.

When Annalisse Delacroix suddenly pops up in Las Vegas, it's as if they are still two lovesick teenagers with the whole world at their feet. The feelings are there but so is the hurt. A hurt not forgotten all these years later that they have been apart for so long when they were both certain they would've been together forever.

Oh my. This second chance romance stole my breath away. The sexual tension, the longing, the absolute adoration both Michael and Annalisse have for each other could be felt with every turn of the page. Discovering truths about their time apart and cursing the lack of available communication when it might have been so much easier now, was at times very painful. You could feel the sadness at time lost, yet there is that distinctive ray of hope that perhaps that now that they are older and wiser, that maybe their time has finally come.

5.0 out of 5 stars The finale of the Sinful Nights series is brilliantly written!!!! 31 March 2016

5 Impassioned Stars

I've been waiting not so patiently for this final book in the Sinful Nights series and as I should have known, Lauren Blakely made it worth the wait!!

Michael Sloan is a man that has been in love with and has never forgotten his first love Annalise the French foreign exchange student he thought was his future when they were in high school together. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, life got in the way and went in directions neither of them ever expected. With the murder of Michael's father, the life he had planned on with Annalise never came to fruition. And even though Michael never truly fell in love with anyone else. Annalise did which put just one more obstacle in their way.

Fast forward sixteen years when both of them are free and clear at least in the romance side of their lives. Although Annalise is still mourning the loss of her husband and Michael is still working to find the people involved with the murder of his father. When Annalise is going to be in Las Vegas for a job, she contacts Michael to see if they can get together. This sets us up for the most romantic and swoonworthy of the four books in my opinion. These two, even after all these years apart, have an undeniable draw towards each other. Although there is trepidation on Annalise's part about finally seeing Michael after all these years....

"How do you just have a drink with someone you once thought you'd marry? Someone who was your everything? She'd been his rock; he'd been her hope."

When Michael sees her for the first time, his heart is still so full of love for her and he's hoping she can find her way to feeling the same way about him. What is definitely undeniable is their blasting off the charts sexual chemistry. They're both adults now so the innocent love they had back in high school has been replaced with the kind of heat that can only be garnered with experience and the sexual desires of an adult.....

"Her heady moans, her breathy gasps, told him she was a woman consumed. He could smell her need, could feel it radiating off of her. She was a tuning fork, vibrating at the highest frequency of desire."

As they spend more time together and they each fall deeper in love as the people they are today, they both want whatever they can get together. The problem is that Annalise lives in France, Michael in Las Vegas and there's the issue of finding the evidence against the Royal Sinners and those involved with his father's murder. It all seems to lead to dead ends.....until it doesn't!!!

Mistakes are made by some key players, that have either been overlooked by the authorities or they were hiding their activities so well, it never occurred to anyone these people could be involved with something so heinous as the murder of another human being. And Annalise may have the key to some of this information. it seems like it's more than fortuitous that Michael and Annalise have reconnected all these years later. While Michael knows how he feels about her, he doesn't know if she has the same feelings but he does know that he doesn't want to lose what he knows is his destiny....

"This was his fate in life, to fall in love with the same woman over and over."

As the book progresses and details are revealed, I literally sat on my couch with my mouth open not expecting to read what I was reading. The way Ms. Blakely has written this entire series, culminating with the capture of the person and/or persons involved with the events that changed everyone's lives so many years ago is done brilliantly!!! It flows so well from present day to the past and back again creating the sense of urgency in me that I just kept saying one more chapter over and over again... I HAD to finish the book because I HAD to know how this all played out.

Can Michael and Annalise have the love and life they so richly deserve and want? How will all the secrets that have been kept for so many years affect everyone? Who is behind their father's murder and do they get their comeuppance for destroying their family all those years ago?

All of this will be answered when you read this final chapter of the Sinful Nights series. And if you're like me, you'll have a serious book hangover when you turn that last page!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything I hope for Michael's story and conclusion of this quartet. 28 March 2016
By K. Bias - Published on

I have been waiting so long for Michael Sloan's book and the conclusion to the Sinful Nights series, and this one did not disappoint!

Michael Sloan is now coming face to face with Annalise Delacroix his "What if?" girl. She was his "one that got away" and who he unconsciously measures all other women by. They were young and had many teenage dreams, but lost them all when their lives went different directions. And soon after his life took an even harder turn due to a family tragedy. Now eighteen years after their young love affair initially began, they have a chance to meet again.

There is such an intense chemistry and true connection between these two tempered with so much regret and both fond and heartbreaking memories. They are each other's ghost from the past. But the affinity, sparks, and interest come roaring back quickly.

They both have issues and challenges, some of them are the same that broke them apart in the first place. They have both changed over the years due to circumstances. Annalise has suffered loss and has been virtually dormant the last couple of years. She is trying to find a way to live again and move on, but she feels guilt at the thought of doing so.

Michael has been emotionally unavailable, but was not really sure why until seeing her again. He is caring, vulnerable, protective, and at times insecure. But he is also afraid of getting attached again and getting hurt, so his heart has been guarded. But the passionate pull is hard to resist, and they both think they can finally give into temptation, have all of each other, and be able to move on without further regret.

As adults, they are more intense, needy, and desperate to come together. Michael brings out her hidden wild side with his hot, alpha, naughty ways. They both had walls up, but now they are breaking down and unlocking their feelings, passion, and fears. But there are built in complications around their lives that would have to be addressed in order to move forward.

Their pasts, their life experiences, their personal challenges, and distance all affected their ability to believe in a future together and hope to hold onto it. They both also had so much healing to do and fears to overcome.

Are the fates that tore them apart now on their side? Or are they destined to end up hurt and alone again?

There is a lot to this story that is heartfelt, sweet, renewing, and romantic. It is also scorching hot and steamy. Sweet, sensitive Michael is also a dirty-talking beast in the bedroom(or any other location that strikes their fancy). And it is also thought-provoking, intriguing, and suspenseful as they peel back the last layers of the mystery of his father's murder. Finally all of the answers are gradually revealed and the big picture comes into focus.

This installment is about facing the past, living life in the present, and the healing power of love. They have an unforgettable bond that traversed time, distance and heartbreak. The romantic portion was an emotional, tender, sexy, and a heartwarming second-chance love story. But it was also a mystery and suspense tale that finally brought all of the pieces of the puzzle together. It was full of twists and surprises. It was told in many points of view giving us access to many character's motivations and feelings. We got to see the present, but also flashes into the past. It kept me guessing and trying to figure out how it would all come together and it kept me completely enthralled and emotionally invested.

I loved getting more with all of the series regulars: Brent and Shannon, Ryan and Sophie, Colin and Elle, Marcus, Mindy, and John. They have all played a part in solving the mystery and have provided much needed support and guidance for each other. And I get all excited when Lauren throws in some little character crossovers. This series gave us beautiful, fun, sexy love stories while building on a tragic family past and mystery that needed to be unraveled. All along we have gathered information about the case and I love that we finally get the chance to see resolution. I was even surprised at some of the details.

I have adored all of the couples, but I have to say that Michael and Annalise have become my fave of this series. I really enjoyed both of their personalities, passion, and their relationship built on both fondness from the past and an intense bond in the present. Michael Sloan was a swoon-worthy, hot alpha hero with just enough heart, tenderness, loyalty, and protectiveness to make him completely lovable and charismatic. And Annalise was a wonderful match for him both in his past and present. This is coming from a fan who always wanted to see Michael coupled with Mindy (and made that quite clear to Lauren during the plotting stage), so the fact that she won me over is saying something.

I was so thrilled to get a full epilogue. I will miss these characters, but if anyone deserves happiness, it is the Paige-Prince (Sloan) siblings. This was an epic romantic journey and a satisfying conclusion to the mystery embedded in this quartet. It was everything I hoped it would be and more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic ending to a wonderful series 6 April 2016

What a phenomenal ending to another great series by Lauren. In the conclusion of the Sinful Series everything we wanted to know about the Sloane family's past is unfolded. Am so glad that Lauren did this from various point of views because it gave the story the clarity that we seeked making the storyline perfect.
Am also extremely elated that Michael Sloane who has scarificed the most in terms of himself for his siblings get his HEA. Rekindling with his one and only true love Annalise as returns to Las Vegas on a job assignment.
Their romance doesn't exactly pick up where they left off so many years ago as Michael is extremely guarded and Annelise is dealing with moving on from the death of her late husband. However, their love was always special and cannot be denied or resisted.
With the case involving the death of his father coming closer to being solved. Michael is more determined than ever to close this chapter of his life by doing everything he can to aid the officers working on the case. So much in this twist is revealed but the Sloane family finally gets the peace of mind and justice they seek in the end and Michael and Annalise get their peace also.
I absolutely enjoyed this story and series. :Sidenote -I would have love to see John get a spinoff book but happy he got and HEA also with Mindy. Great job once again Lauren. 5 well deserved stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sinfully Good! 29 March 2016
By Lucy Loves Love - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Sinful Love is the 4th and final installment in the Sinful Nights series. Each book has been dedicated to a Sloan sibling. Sinful Love is Michael's story and his chance at Happily Ever After. I think Michael is my favorite- he is the oldest, he is the glue that has kept his family together through unthinkable trauma and loss. We start the story with Analisse, Michael's teenage love coming to Las Vegas for work and contacting him after ten years of separation. Their separation wasn't caused by misunderstanding, cheating or one of them hurting the other. They fell in love when they were young, and didn't have the resources to maintain a transcontinental relationship. Michael's family also experienced a tragedy of epic proportions that, at the tender age of 17, made him the main support system for his siblings.

He has done a commendable job, loving them, supporting them and being a good friend to them. The story is told in a series of flashbacks that take us 10-18 years in the past. We get to see how circumstance separated these young lovers and how much they loved each other even as very young people. We also finally learn the "whodunit" and why in regards to Michael's dad's death. I don't want to spoil that part for you, especially if you haven't read the other books in the series (I highly recommend that you do). If you have read them, then I will just say that everything is revealed in this story and these siblings finally get closure and the ability to rebuild their lives in a meaningful way.

In terms of Annalise and Michael, their reunion is SO sweet and touching. They are both such good, open-hearted people. Their lives have taken paths that mean they have experienced major life events without each other and have changed a lot. What hasn't changed is the chemistry (mind blowing) and feelings of love that they felt for each other 18 years ago. They come back together both having grown up, experienced loss and understanding that you don't waste the moments that life gives you. They make the very most of their time together and there is an openness in their communication that is so refreshing that you can read this book knowing that both of them have laid all of their cards on the table. You are not waiting for the other shoe to drop that will lead them to break up. They have significant hurdles to overcome, but they are both honest brokers who have a genuine and mutual respect for each other.

So, we get to see Michael get his well earned HEA. We get to see the Sloan family celebrate together and as this series ends, there is a sense of peace that pervades each page because these characters have been through hell and are finally getting their reward.

I love Lauren Blakely. She is so good at creating chemistry, tension, emotional connections between her characters. You could feel the pull between these two. The romance is off the charts. She also uses Paris as a backdrop for part of their romance and you can feel, smell and taste the city as they explore it together. This is very well written, emotionally satisfying and off the charts sexy. I have come to expect this from Ms. Blakely. She is an automatic buy for me and she has yet to disappoint me.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Want Another Book with Michael. 31 March 2016
By TheBunny - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I loved it. This was a second (third?) chance romance at its best. If you can read this without falling a little in love with Annalise and Michael, you weren't paying attention.

The background info on Michael and Annalise quickly lets you see that they are approaching their reunion with similar fond memories and feelings of when they were together, but from a different perspective. Annalise, you discover quickly, was married and her husband passed away. Michael has always been in love with Annalise.

Michael is intense, passionate and so afraid of losing Annalise again that he is reluctant to tell her how he feels. But, after an amazingly sweet discovery on her part, he confesses all to her right before she gets into a cab to head back to Paris...although at that point, they have already decided to allow what they have to continue, an option that was not realistic when they meet as 16-year olds.

While we wait for Annalise to admit she loves him, and is more than "falling" for him, Lauren Blakely gives little clues as to how Annalise feels, like watching him sit, holding his wine, and talking to her see how she feels before she tells him.

The entire book is just good. You just feel for both of them, your heart aches for them, and you don't want it to end.
