Masterfully put together stories that have everything you could want in a page turner:) The end of book two left us wondering the outcome of the accident both Lachlan and Keira were in after returning from Ireland. But there is more than just a tying up of loose ends in this book, but also answers about the couple themselves, some background on Lachlan and also a new enemy we never saw coming!

Loved this story and can’t wait for Temperance’s story next:)

Explosive! This trilogy has been such a powerful read.
'Sinful Empire' (part 3) continued this riviting trope with the uber-alpha-antihero Lachlan Mount and the equally strong (and growing ever-stronger) heroine, Kiera Kilgore. They pushed, pulled, challenged, supported and eventually gave themselves completely to each other. Great characterisation - a true king and queen of their New Orleans domain! The secondary characters were richly portrayed, too, adding to the authentic feel of the book.
Meghan March created a well-thought-out, convincing and deeply developed plot. She also included hot-hot-hot scenes, humour, drama, tension, dark tones, emotions, twists and unpredictable shocks! This fast-paced story revealed all about what motivated Mount, including why Kiera was a 'blip' on his radar. My only small issue was that it seemed like one long epilogue at times, but then things heated up at around 40-50% and the final outcome was just spectacular! I have absolutely loved this fantastic trilogy. Thanks Meghan.

I didn't love this as much as the first two, I felt the story was convoluted and was predictable and frankly Lachlan was written to be overly mushy, I missed the alpha-stubborn intense man he was. Kiera was too accepting of the violence like I get it but the way it was written it was instant and not how it eventually was played out. I'm disappointed in this last book but overall it was a good series.

This was such a fabulous story of Keira and Lachlan. He the underworld boss and she the owner of the distillery who is in debt to him. Their worlds collide when their relationship goes from him wanting to own her and her feisty temperament wanting to kill him. Great stuff and very hot chemistry between these two. Loved all three books and highly recommend them.

Final book in the trilogy, I have read all three back to back and while I have enjoyed the story and all is dark and deep places I continued to not emotionally connect with Mount and Kiera. The book is well edited and the story flows well but after reading the "Beneath" series where I did connect with nearly all of the characters this left me a little let down. I do like how this author writes and I am certainly looking forward to Temperance's story - the teaser at the end of this story was very sexy.

I liked the story a lot BUT I didn't like the price. I stopped reading Meghans books because of the trilogy and the price of them (£14 for this trilogy when it could have been 1 book because each book wasn't that long and the last one finished at 86% I feel cheated. Other authors either do 1 book or do a trilogy but only charge a couple of quid max for each book.. if the books were at a reasonable price I would have given it 5 stars and I know it's my choice but I won't read anymore now when there is many authors out there who don't rip you off

To be clear, I did definitely enjoy this Trilogy👍 I just can't get past the pricing!🙈😲 Because it *wasn't* anything outstanding or new & it lacked a lot of character description. I definitely wouldn't class it up there with the likes of Blair Babylon or Julia Kent & they charge similar prices for much better content & a lot longer duets/trilogies/series!!💔 These books ARE only Novella length. I wouldn't have read book #1 & been hooked by those cliffhanger endings if I'd known the prices & book lengths before hand!!😔 I wish I'd read the reviews & not just downloaded a free read that cost me £9.98 in the end!🙈 #Idiot 😂

What disappointed me the most about the last two books is that the nervousness, fear & tension was completely lacking in them. The storylines failed to capture it in another way like her fear of Mount had in book #1!!😔 If one of those surprises had been utilized throughout as a quiet, deadly & unknown threat that could have worked, possibly?? An opportunity missed I think.😕 The steam factor was a lot lower in this book, there was only a few scenes, one was very hot though.🔥👍🔥 I did really like Keira's growth & them as a true couple!!💘😍

If money is no object to you then this trilogy is 12 hrs of lovely escapism.
If it is, I'd honestly go elsewhere.😔 I would read more by this Author if it was in KU or was £0.99-2.99. I feel terrible saying that as this money is their living but when you're struggling yourself you want the most & best quality for your pennies, for me this isn't it. I'm sorry!💔

An excellent conclusion to Lachlan & Keira’s story , after the events at the end of the book 2 you know that soon Lachlan will be reigning his type of violent retribution on who has caused it ...... We also get more about the hard life Lachlan had growing up and when he literally ran into the Mr Morello the local mob boss in New Orleans whilst being perused by a shop owner and the police . Realising that Lachlan was only about 16 years old Morello took him under his wing over time Lachlan worked his way up the ladder within the mob . As the story unfolds Keira and Lachlan get closer and we begin to see the person behind the violent man that is Lachlan . Although he’s acquired Keira to be just a possession they’re slowly getting closer and he’s seeing her more as an equal and the inevitable happens so he also does the one thing that he thinks will keep her safe . With lots of twists turns and revelations it all leads to an OMG moment but the ending is perfect ❤️❤️ ....... with the chance to download a little “meet the parents” epilogue which rounds the story off nicely 😉.

Mount. Oh boy what an Alpha male, who doesn’t honestly believe himself to be anything but a monster. How wrong he is. Kiera what a feisty female. Rises to the challenge of becoming a queen. So many twists, turns, characters that you warm to, characters that you can’t believe are so twisted. Characters that are greatly affected by life and yet some are absolutely delusional, and others although not angels are not necessarily the devil incarnate. We join the third book in the trilogy, reflecting on Mounts previous reason for being whom he is today. We get glimpses of his previous life throughout this episode, which makes the reader understand his character more. His love for Kiera is undeniably intense, and hers for him, is without question and compassion. Meghan is a phenomenal author, with a fantastic way with descriptive dialogue, so much so that at times, as the reader you feel as if you are intruding. This trilogy has been invigorating, delightful, tender, terrifying , dark and full of suspense and sub plots. A joy to read. Once started very difficult to put down, until the full climax is achieved. Brilliant, and certainly worth more than 5 stars.
