Well Morticia you have done it again. Reed and Dakota opposites certainly attract in this case. Poor Dakota hasn't had the best start in life when he thinks he is finally working it out it all falls apart personally and work wise then in steps Reed and life doesn't seem to bad or does it. Another great instalment in the Sin City Uniforms series.
Fun, sexy, and an escape from reality. I read it in one sitting. I loved the characters, the romance, and the sex (which was HOT!). I'm a big Morticia Knight fan, and she didn't disappoint me with Strip Search. I highly recommend this book...and the rest of the series.

Strip Search by Morticia Knight is a multifaceted story with a cast of characters including strippers, sleazy bosses, adorably naive cops, and toppy twinks. It’s number seven in the Sin City Uniforms series but can stand on its own.
STRIPPERS, SLEAZY BOSSES, ADORABLY NAIVE COPS, AND TOPPY TWINKS.
Officer Reed is co-parenting his beloved daughter Kelli with his friend and ex-wife Serena. He’s fully aware of his bisexuality, but until now that aspect of his life has been largely unexplored. His one attempt to date a man ended on a less than promising note, so he’s focused his attention on dating women ever since.
Then he meets Dakota.
Dakota has his sights set on being a professional dancer. His job stripping at Glitter Boys is just a step on his career path. His life is complicated enough by a sleazy boss who wants to have him and own him. Finding out his little brother Donny ran away from home (and their abusive father) and is now missing ratchets up the tension even more.
Dakota knows first-hand what it’s like on the streets and doesn’t want that for his brother. Add in the guilt he feels for leaving Donny in the first place and he’s dead-set on becoming Donny’s guardian. He just has to find him first.
During his search Dakota encounters Officer Reed at a LGBTQ+ shelter and solicits his help. With everything going on Dakota and Reed grow close in a somewhat instalove kind of way. Officer Reed explores his gay side with the help of his twinky dancer.
REED EXPLORES HIS GAY SIDE WITH THE HELP OF HIS TWINKY DANCER
Working together, and learning from each other along the way, makes Dakota and Reed an adorable couple. Neither has all the answers, but by joining forces and calling upon their resources they strive to overcome all the barriers to their happiness.
Strip Search is about finding that true person who completes you. Switching the perceived roles of tough guy and twink was refreshing, and allowed the characters to complement each other in unexpected ways. Through their escapades Dakota and Reed open up to each other, settle their pasts and insecurities, and look forward to the future. The drama, exploration, and cuteness all contribute to an ultimately pleasing read.
Blog Post:[...] Dakota has been stripping at The Glitter Boys in Vegas for a while now but things are going downhill faster than he could’ve imagined. Ted the stage manager just wouldn’t get the hint that Dakota would never be interested in him, Yuri, the owner thinks he’s just playing hard to get but Dakota would be starring in his porn movies! On top of all that Dakota learns his teenage brother Donovan has run away from home, again. Dakota only needs a few more months of stripping to be able to afford the aerial dance lessons he’s so desperate to have. Yuri decides to take matters into his own hands and gives Dakota a warning, he either goes to live with Yuri and becomes his “lover”, agrees to star in his porn movies and continue to not only strip at Glitter Boys but do whatever/whoever Yuri tells him to then Dakota would be allowed to live. Dakota has enough and goes into hiding but he can’t do that very well when he has to look for his brother and strip at another club so that he can have a place to live and eat. It’s on one night when Dakota is on his way to the LGBTQ teen shelter to have a look around and possibly find out if Donny is staying there that he meets Reed a police officer with the Las Vegas police Department. Reed meets Dakota when he and his partner Carlos have finished dealing with their call-out to an incident at the teen shelter and Dakota is trying to get inside the shelter to see if it’s possibly his younger brother who was one of the victims. Reed can’t believe how attracted he is to a complete stranger. The next time they meet is when Reed and Carlos answer a call-out to an assault outside of a strip club. The person being assaulted is Dakota, the person doing the assaulting is Yuri. Yuri runs of course and Dakota is left to explain to the hot cop that Yuri is his ex-boss and had decided that Dakota was his and he wasn’t letting him go. When Dakota explains he’s still searching for his brother, Reed decides he has to help him because as an officer he knows of places where runaways and homeless people stay. Once they find Donny, Dakota then has to follow procedures to get custody of him. Both Reed and Dakota then have to decide are they going to act on their attraction. Not only will they have their hands full with Donny but they also have Reeds daughter to help get adjusted to the fact that her father is in a committed relationship with a man. I have to admit I love Morticia’s Sin City Uniforms series and Strip Search is another winner. I would recommend to everyone that if they haven’t started reading this series, they need to!
