Product Description

An intense, funny, inspirational rollercoaster ride through the challenges of self-identity, racism, bullying, conformity and belonging. Reading this book is like listening to a good friend open up about their life. It’s a story of endurance, survival and unwavering strength that comes from deep inside.

Simply Unbreakable is an intense, sarcastic, yet inspirational true story of a young girl who overcame the belief that life is just one long nightmare. It dives into the question “Do we carry our secrets & scars forever, or bring them into the light?”

In this book you’ll discover:
•You’re not alone with your secrets and pain!
•Ways to face down and release your past trauma.
•You matter regardless of what you’ve been told!
•Regaining trust in others (and yourself) is possible!
•There is a good life on the other side of abuse.

It’s a remarkable memoir of triumph over adversity and grief. From growing up in racially divided areas to facing demons at home, De offers insight on how to face the past and find a new respect for yourself and life.

Millions of people around the world have suffered trauma and abuse. This book shows them there is life outside these experiences. The pain doesn’t have to define you! It is possible to rise above the trauma and live the life you thought impossible!

If you experienced a childhood of trauma, this book is for you!

“This was a book I didn't want to leave! I became totally enraptured by it. The hours flew! I felt like I was living it with you! Really a wonderful book and a good and worthy read.” (June S.)

“Have read the book! What an amazing path to who you are today. A rich woman of wisdom. Will be spreading the word.” (Linda S.)

“Your book is fantastic! It awakened memories in me long left behind and allowed me to travel back along the path of events that made me who I am. The challenges, obstacles, and lessons learned that seem to be common (to a greater or lesser degree) among us all are brought forward to be revisited, analyzed, and likely restored. Keep writing in your journey along the path of your life.” (Terry L.)

This is a great book. I am really enjoying it! (Antoinette T.)

About the Author

De Fletcher is an entrepreneur and professional trainer with twenty years of teaching and working within social services programs. Her experience provides depth to her understanding and releasing of childhood traumas she describes in her non-fiction work. De earned her Masters Degree from Weber State University. She has traveled to 15 countries, exploring and learning about their culture, language and traditions. She lives and works out of her home in "the natural state" of Arkansas. De enjoys music, dancing, comedy, teaching and writing. Observing people and finding humor in everyday life has always come easy for her. Friends would often tell her she should become a stand-up comedian. Having grown up in racially divided areas, experienced life on a farm, being of mixed ancestry, and learning about many different cultures shows in her writing, behaviors and daily life. At times these often vastly different sides of her experience will make an appearance, much to the confusion of others. She describes herself as a Caucasian woman with an Indian "center" who has "black moments". Her writing mixes a variety of perspectives, experiences, knowledge, humor and sarcasm into what is best described as "book gumbo". De has the unique ability to blend spirit, humor, simplicity and realism into her writing. She is currently a writer, speaker, teacher and coach of living a purpose-filled life.
