Unprepared when her engagement fell apart, Jacy Penna packs up and heads to a familiar place—her grandma’s in the quaint town of Marion, Massachusetts. She is taken aback again when she discovers her grandma sold her house to no other than another heartbreaker from her past, Zach Silva.
Part of Zack is still in NY, but he’s made the decision to move on and take care of business at his relations stylish, coastal hotel, The Silvershell Beach Inn. He hires Augusta, Jacy’s grandma to cook at the Inn. When Zack and Jacy’s paths cross on the beach Zach is stunned.
Jacy and Zack have grown and changed since they were first together way back when. So, you can imagine the curiosity between them when they reunited. They will find out if the passing of time has been a good thing for them. Can one sunset filled weekend together prompt Jacy and Zack to rethink their futures? Will the signals of companionship help them to face their questions of true love?
This was a wonderful story with abundant mountain and valley moments to hold my interest throughout. I would love to stay at The Silvershell Beach Inn and go lay on the nearby beach and soak up the sun. The characters were well done and the plot was absorbing.
