I play Civ 6 on PC and having it now on my switch is great. There's some minor features I can't find such as searching for resources or units. But besides that it's a great port. Minor issues such as the Switch buttons appearing on buttons feel a bit too big, and panning while a unit is selected moves them, but it's not major at all. Graphics and frame rate are fine!

I love Civilisation III. I'm not talking about earlier ones as some of them have theirs own charm, but to me III is still the best in terms of economics management and diplomacy, while IV and V are meh.

However, I've tried to give VI a chance, especially because I've no any other game of the series on Switch. There are some improvements over V, but that's not good enough, hence 4 stars.

Pros:
- It is still Civilisation. Sure, not the best version in my opinion but still it is the same turn-based strategy with research tree and some modern gimmicks plus variations of game mechanics.

Cons:
- Controls and UI are a bit tricky on Switch.
- I've not found a schematic map instead of 3d rendered glory (V had it). Might exist somewhere, though.

If you've are not fan of Civ III or new player to Civilisation, then I guess you might find VI to be better than V and enjoy the game as overall it develops in direction set by V.

Experiencing in game crashes which I believe is due to an in-game cartridge. Due to the difficulties faced, the game is now nearly unplayable. This is disappointing as the game has been looked after very well.

The game itself is a 9/10 for me an awesome game and affordable, it has cross save, cross platform, multiplayer local and online it is almost on every platform switch, pc, xbox etc.. You can play with friends, it is very addicting and will take alot of time, kinda like monopoly but with culture, faith, wars, peace, allies etc..

If I could improve on the switch port is the touch screen funtionality, it has so much untapped potential on switch.

If you are into city sky lines, age of empires/kingdoms etc.. Buy it! It is worth every penny!💯🔥👍

soy veterano del Civilization, lo llevo jugando en PC desde el primero (sí, los he jugado a todos). Debo decir que compré la versión de Switch teniendo ya la de PC con sus expansiones y que lo hice por su bajo precio...y con dudas.

Bueno, pues es una fantástica adaptación. Si te gusta el Civil en PC, te aseguro que este también. No tienes mouse, pero lo verás en una pantalla enorme, el juego va muy rápido, con buenas gráficas y la adaptación al control es excepcional. Además tiene juego cruzado.

Lo recomiendo al 100%, han hecho una excelente adaptación. Y jugarlo en la TV es increíble.
