Sick Fux gets all of the stars for being a completely heartbreaking tale of two lost souls who have been abandoned, hurt and irrevocably changed by the 'people' that were supposed to always care for them.
Tillie Cole is amazing and this book was so beautifully written that I was fully immersed in the world of Dolly and Rabbit the whole time I was reading... even if I didn't want to be there at times ðŸ˜
It was oddly satisfying, in a completely gruesome way, reading of them exacting their revenge on the twisted monsters that hurt them.
Definitely not for the faint hearted that is for sure. If you are thinking about reading it check out some reviews first, the subject matter is confronting and graphic. Having said that, I have so much love for this book. It wasn't exactly an easy read but I devoured it so quickly and I cannot recommend it highly enough to those that like their stories very dark, twisted and bloody.

I cried my way through parts of this book.
I will never look at Alice in Wonderland the same again. This is book is very dark and very twisted and yet its written in a way that makes it impossible for you to put down.
I'm not one for violence and gory details, but I found myself cheering for Dolly and Rabbit. They say revenge is never the answer but in this case I think it was necessary for the characters to deal with their past.
This is not a book for everyone, but it is a very worthwhile read. I hope this is the start to anther series by Ms Cole.

I loved this book, twisted fairy tails is my go to... but this book.. this book is the definition of twisted fairy tails and I loved it, dolly and rabbit. I love the in depth affection, there own twisted love, coping in the only way they can. Every one wants to be loved with the ferocity that rabbit loves dolly. They hunt down every one that has ever hurt them, and they systematically slaughter them, no less then what they deserve. A love story twisted into a darkened fairy tail and a must read for anyone that enjoys a twisted fairy tail with an erotic twist xx

One of those where you cringe, but can't look away. It was well written, original story. Some areas that didn't quiet add up, like you think it should- but still plausible. The characters were incredible, to overcome what they had. It is one of those horror stories with happy ending, that makes you question could it be a real story- and if yes, can you blame the characters for acting the way they did

I'm going to start by saying I love Tillie Cole's other books ( hangman series is my fave ) and I'm all for a dark read and have enjoyed many. Unfortunately , I just didn't get hooked into with this book. I found myself skipping a lot of it. I found the dialogue a bit repetitive and the overall storyline a bit lacking. I feel like this book could have been a great read, but It just felt like it was missing something..
I'm still going to give it 3 stars because I loved the idea of this book and While it wasn't one my favourite reads, I will still continue to read Tillie's other books.

I really enjoyed the elements of Alice in Wonderland as Rabbit and Dolly went down the rabbit hole. I liked their style of crazy. Some intense moments but overall possibly not as intense as I was hoping. I wanted to be drawn into their pain just a touch more, having read some dark romances that captured me fully previously. Is this the start of a series with possible Jack the Ripper and Dr Jeklly and Mr Hyde books, I find that concept intriguing.

I'm trying to think of how to describe this book and not a lot comes to mind.
Why?
Because this book compares to none!
Tillie cole take you down the rabbit hole of wonderland and puts you on the other side of a twisted and sick fairy tale.
Rabbit and Alices story is.... sick. A start born in hell, they rise up, but not rise above. They reach up and pull their tourchers back into the depths of hell and invite them to the tea party they never expected.
I'm giving this book 5 stars, only because i cant give more.
Welcome to wonderland!!

Get on board the cray cray train heading straight to the asylum!!! WOW!!
I brought this on release and have only just read. I know DOH!!! I love Tillies dark and this is probably the best!
This is loosely based on Alice in Wonderland and takes you down an incredibly dark rabbit hole. I mean deep down into the basement of hell dark.
Rabbit and Dolly meet as young children. Dolly instantly connects to the strange boy brought into her home. Her dad is charged with looking after Rabbit after his father dies. They spend a little time bonding and becoming best friends. In her childish innocence Dolly doesn't see all the bad around her. Rabbit see's it all. He's maybe the darkest of them.
Rabbit gets called into Dolly's fathers office one night and that meeting changes his and Dolly's life forever. Eventually sent away to an underground prison Rabbit plots the day he will be able to rescue Dolly. The day he will go back and claim her as his own queen. Far too many years pass but Rabbit eventually escapes and he goes back to get Dolly so he can exact his revenge. He knew what he would find wouldn't be good but he's determined to bring her back.
What follows is the most twisted and revenge filled story you'll ever read.
OMG it's so f good! If you love the darkest of dark books then this is for you. It's time for Tea!!!!
These two characters are the most crazy couple I've ever read. I mean they seriously need help! Full on wrap em up in straight jackets and throw away the key crazy!
They are absolutely perfect for one another. Rabbit appears to have always had darkness inside him. Pure full on evil. But as you read this story you begin to feel oddly connected to him. I mean you kind of get where he's coming from. As his love? for Dolly comes through i guess you sort of fall in love with him. I mean it feels strange saying that about a psycho but seriously i did. I loved him. All the darkness drew me in! He's really sort of sweet in a "buying his girl expensive lipstick so she can paint a murder scene" kind of way.
Dolly, Dolly, Dolly... sweet innocent Dolly. She's very much a deadly innocent Harley Quinn kind of character. Her childhood built the woman. Locked in her own mind for nearly a decade i can see why she's the way she is but reading her story before it all happened i think she may have got to the end point in any event. She's definitely bat s crazy!! I loved how that even as dark as Rabbit was she longed to join him. Even lead him in some ways. Her need to be with her best friend even broke my heart at times.
Their blood lust, torturous road trip had me pegged to my seat. The down lows, the killing highs all made this book one of the best stories i have ever read. The love scenes were off the scale, blood thirsty, angry, sick, twisted joining and i loved every one of them. The odd connection between them made me feel slightly uncomfortable but incredibly hot. Brilliant.
The wording, the plot, the characters, the bad guys, the really bad guys, the anti-heroes were just top notch in my opinion. I've never read a story like it and it was just tremendous!
One click this badboy if you love pitch black, make you uncomfortable but secretly love it, sick and twisted romances!!!! I'm hoping one day Rabbit's crazy associates from prison Henry/Hyde and Chapel will get their own stories!! Series FTW!!!

As the title suggests, I'd turn away if these following themes are too much for you. Consider this your trigger warning:
1. Instances of Child Rape
2. Bloody Revenge
3. Characters out for vengeance with no room for forgiveness.
With that out of the way, let me try to describe what goes on without going into spoiler territory.
The story is about a young girl who dresses up as her favourite character from fiction, Alice from the Wonderland fables. She has long-blond hair and speaks with a British accent she got from her mother. This girl one day meets a boy who is acting strange as he is tearing apart insects just to watch them suffer, yet the two become fast and strange friends where she sees him as the White Rabbit due to his own fascination with his pocket watch.
Years later, the boy's father dies in an accident and the two are separated but when they meet again things become grave and they are separated once again. It is not until many years later that her white rabbit comes for her, but sadly the home was left abandoned and she was not what she once was. Now they are on the road to get revenge for their lost childhood.
This was a real page turner for me as I was always wondering what was going to happen next and how they were going to kill the next sicko. As stated above the content of this book is very dark and not for the faint of heart, however, if this sounds like something you'd enjoy then I'd say go for it!

I very much enjoyed Sick Fux which is a slight departure from my normal read. I noticed that Amazon has it as Romantic Erotica, I'm not so sure that would be a category I'd have placed this book, it's 'romantic' crime (should there be such a category) that covers a very tough subject. There is insanity caused by a heinous act, two very damaged characters that have such a need for each other, it's painful to read at times. But I got it. Two children, thrown together who can only survive within the insanity of their minds and with each other. Dolly and Rabbit were perfectly awful and I loved them. It's not hard to get beyond the insanity and we're given glimpses of what they could have been, what they would have liked to have been. Personally, I would have liked a little more of Rabbits time in 'you know where' ;) Those are some interesting 'friends' he made and I do wonder if we'll see another book with those guys. There is certainly scope for that. Now, the Mad Hatter....Exactly what I wanted to see. There could only be one of two endings for Dolly and Rabbit, either I would have been satisfied with, but I'm happy with the one we got. All sounds a little cryptic, doesn't it? It's hard to review this book without giving spoilers. If you like a dark read that covers a very tough and topical subject, this book is for you. Dig deep when you're reading Dolly and Rabbit, see beyond the insanity and understand the why's, only then will you occasionally get a glimpse of what lies beyond and your heart with crack a little for them.

What an amazing emotional book. I so loved reading this, at times it was so heartbreaking and brutal, emotional and sad but always there was light at the end of that tunnel. Wonderful written this book weaves it's tale around the story of Alice In Wonderland and the journey it takes you on is a remarkable one. One that you will never forget, even though at times you will want to. I had to put this book down more than once and walk away from it for a break. It is ingenious, imaginative, unique and it will take hold of your heart and soul and consume you.
Two children meet when they are very young, the boy Heathen is undeniably drawn to this little girl Ellis and they connect with other and forge an unbreakable bond. But danger and depravity are never far away and what these two children experience is utterly heartbreaking and raw - your heart will weep, you will want to kill someone with your bare hands - this book is not for the faint of heart.
They are separated through no fault of their own - Heathen (Rabbit) to a dark dark place and Ellis ( Dolly) reverts to the safety of her mind. Eleven years later Rabbit returns for his Dolly and they set out to take revenge on the people whom wronged them. Grown up now, Rabbit is a phenomenal man with a focus and determination not to be ignored. Dolly still holds that innocence that we fell in love with her for early on in the book - mix that all up within the fairy tale and you have the most magnificent story.
Tille writes these characters with such passion and devotion, a love story that is the only brightness in a dark world that they live in. I connected to them both immediately, I rooted for them the whole way through this remarkably clever book. Two people who have lost their way trying to find the path back to normality - they are unhinged and on the edge, slightly mad and deranged but they take a piece of your heart wherever they go.
A book to be read if you like to be shocked. There is blood and gore, rape, murder, sex but also love and lots of hope and maybe a bright light at the end of the rabbit hole.
Truly superb writing and storytelling but it won't be for everyone !!

This is a book by a new author to me so I had no idea what I would find when I started reading, let's be honest I go in blind to most of my books but friends of mine had raved about it so I took the leap and I am so glad I did.
It is not an easy book to read, without giving spoilers it covers subjects that are genuinely sickening yet I thought it was written in such a way that didn't detract from the subject but also didn't glorify what happened to Dolly and Rabbit. The more I read the more my heart broke for them and I found myself feeling for them as they went on their journey. I can safely say by the end of the book my heart was smiling for them both which considering how sad this book made me feel and the amount of times it stamped on my heart is saying a lot.
No it is not going to be the book for everyone but I loved every heart breaking, soul destroying, tear jerking, dark moment and this book will have a place in my heart forever.
