3.8 stars. I think this book and series you will either love or hate. I personally love it, I love Shannon and Declan's continuing story. The author's wit is delightful. The series has started as a bunch of novellas so I read this book in it's entirety within my lunch break at work with time to spare. This book was a little slower for me I kept wanting to get to book 3 to the actual date. This was more of a build up to what I imagine book three will be about. Still loved it though, the glamours life of a mystery shopper had me laughing out loud. Poor Shannon can not catch a break from turds to her family's interference in her life.
I've said it before but this series reminds me of the witty writing of Sophie Kinsella so if you like her books I am confident you will like Julia's.
Mystery shopper Shannon and (near) billionaire Declan explore a relationship (and each other) as they deal with a jealous ex-boyfriend, a sham same-sex marriage, and a case of mistaken identity that threatens Shannon’s career (and sanity) as the "Shopping for a Billionaire" series continues.
