This is the second book of 'The Tamuli' trilogy by David Eddings. really needs to be read in conjunction with book 1 ( Domes of fire) to appreciate the story. I love David Eddings' work.. It keeps you enthralled. There are lots of things going on and he is marvellous at linking them together. It's fantasy at it's best! Lots of violence, magic and love interests..
I really recommend this book, it's superior fantasy, it's the second book in a series of three, follow the continuing adventures of the Pandion Knight Sparhawk and his companions, in the continuing quest to find a cure for Queen Ehlana. Recommended!
David weddings is probably the greatest fantasy writer I have ever had the pleasure to read.
This is the second book of the Tamuli trilogy and continues an epic quest as Prince Sparhawk is called to save the Tamuli Nation from ancient horrors that have been resurected.
It's a series I read almost annually and still find something new at each reading.
Classic reading and it's free. Gotta love Kindle! I am no longer able to read "real" books due to a lung condition (dust, mould etc) so Kindle has allowed me to re read some old favourites. Eddings was and is one of the best fantasy authors. Story lines to keep you gripped and you go back for.
