What a first day of work for Zack30 May 2018 - Published on Amazon.com
I felt like I was part of the group in the story. The writing caught me and by the end I was really looking forward to what happens next. I recommend this story for anyone that has to deal with bullies. The word images abound and taunt my imagination. Kalie and Zack grow during various experiences, I like the way Macy is present through out, I am looking forward to finding out her father's identity.
Good quick read11 December 2012 - Published on Amazon.com
This was better than I thought it would be. I like these Love inspired, they are quick reads and everything turns out nice. Good to read between longer deeper books, just to remind me that some books still have happy endings. I read this after the Casual Vacancy because I needed something that was light and happy after the deep thoughts and themes of CV. But this turned out to be a little deeper than I expected. Not pulitzer deeper, but it was actually a well written story with some character development and even though there wasn't much to further Brooke's story or hint at the other siblings/cousins, there was movement on Macy's character and some development of the Clayton characters from the other side of the Clayton family. Still, it all turns out nice and the main characters are wrapped up and you can close the book and sigh and move onto something else.
Fun, wholesome reading18 September 2018 - Published on Amazon.com
I was concerned that having numerous authors writing this series would disrupt the flow of the story. This was not the case. I love to read and know that once I get interested I don't have to be concerned with values in the store being compromised.

Love the series!! Great new installment23 July 2011 - Published on Amazon.com
At first I was a little hesitant to buy this book, a new author to me, but since this is the second book in the series and Linda Goodnight is the intro writer to the series and she says good things about Arlene James. I bought the book and I tell you, it was soooo worth it!! I highly recommend this series so far. Great second book in the series!!!
