With intriguing developments and a delightfully compelling couple, THE SHEIKH DOC’S MARRIAGE BARGAIN is engaging plus constantly enjoyable. I have found the stories by Susan Carlisle to always be very realistic, and her latest medical romance has the perfect blend of professional incidents interwoven with personal issues. There is also the setting which takes place in a location where royalty is revered yet the ordinary person is also respected. I thought each situation that occurred to be very convincing and added to how the relationship of the main couple proceeded.
Working in medical research brings Dr. Laurel Martin much satisfaction, and she hopes to one day find a way to prevent a life-changing disease from affecting so many people, but her funding may soon run out. When the royal prince of Zentar, Tariq Al Marktum, offers her the opportunity to continue her work in his country, she refuses to accept until the grant that she thought would happen is rejected. Laurel then finds herself married to Tariq because of his country’s traditions, and following their fabricated plan is not so easy.
There were so many events in the story which I thought were original, and they ranged from the happenings involving medical procedures to those moments where feelings were the focus. The blood disease being researched by Laurel comes into play on several occasions, and each instance was carefully portrayed and had me feeling sympathy for those suffering from hemophilia. I really admired how dedicated she and Tariq are to eradicating this illness.
Emotions are continuously displayed by the couple during various circumstances, and each sentiment comes across as honestly sincere. Laurel has never been an adventurous person, and her responses to what she experienced in Zentar and when around Tariq are very genuine. His behavior also showed me what kind of individual he really is yet often keeps hidden, making me like him more with each new insight. Susan Carlisle drew me into the premise from the beginning scene, and my fascination never diminished as the storyline progressed.
I voluntarily reviewed the book, and all comments are my honest opinion
