Disappointing Offering.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 May 2015
I'm really disappointed in this book, as it's by an author I've been enjoying. It's well written, but a bit on the dark side for me, and very boring if you're not the least bit interested in Native American mythology because as part of the story there are repeated explanations of various supposed tribal tales and traditions. I'm not uninterested in Native American history, but if I want to read about it, it'll not be in a novel. The characters are less likeable than in the other books of Bevill's that I've read - in fact I feel they're really one dimensional and I just couldn't bring myself to care much what happened so long as I got my happy ever after ending. I trust I will get that - I'm only 84% of the way through, but I'm assuming the author knows her readership well enough to know they expect no less! I wanted to write the review now, because the book is slightly boring me, and I don't know if I'd have the enthusiasm to review later.

A little slow to start, but enjoyed the story once it got going. Interesting and would recommend this author's other books too! Good over evil etc.

A ripping yarn in more ways than one! Good though!

Could not put this book down. Just finished and I'm sad that it has ended, hopefully another instalment is in the pipeline.
