Great, well written and fun series. Limiting stars due to too many characters POV throughout the book.

You need to read the subsequent books, can not be read stand alone.
An easy book to be lost in.

These books are better than Twilight. They should make a movie.

I enjoyed the continued story line... But was disappointed that the books seem to be getting shorter

I bought pretty much the entire series. The books are okay, light enough to read without having to think much. Overall the storyline is very predictable and uninspiring. I found myself skipping through parts that were a little boring. Overall an alright series if you don't have any expectations, personally wouldn't read these again however.

Part 5 of the shade continues again taking the story deeper and more than just the vampires of the shades , looking further into the connections of the hunters , the elite , the naturals .
Also going deeper into all the side stories as well as getting more from Derek and Sophia :)

I loved the earlier books in this series which kept me wanting more. This latest instalment is good, I enjoyed it but not as much as the previous ones. Looking forward to seeing how the final book ends.

This book almost bored me to death
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2014Verified Purchase
Finishing this book took a lot of effort. I've read all of the shade books so far and this one is by far the worst, the story seems to just constantly repeat itself with Sophia having some person going after her and her love for derek blah blah blah. Everything in this book was so dragged out and repetitive, the same sentences and phrases about each other over and over, the story never seems to end and it simply got boring. I will not be torturing myself with the next book. It would have been good if it had finished up by book 4. Its a shame.
