I light hearted read to put a smile on the face and a few chuckles to go with it. A good easy read for something different. Will certainly be looking for another book by this author for a comparison.

It had me laughing, crying and feeling as if I was in his world. When I reached the end I thought ‘no, don’t finish now!’ A wonderful journey to be part of. Thank you.

Moving, funny, beautiful. A book to savour for the spareness of its writing. How wonderful to be invited to walk with Keret and his family, sharing just a little in their laughter, tears, terror, empathy, and most of all, love.

Marvellous. If only it never stopped! Etgar please continue. Was it my imagination or were most small parts played by someone called Gilad?

I liked the book as I have visited Israel and can relate to the characters. An insight into a Jewish mindset.
