On a business trip, Indigo Meyer falls for a young woman, a fading teen-star, and makes the mistake of letting her read his manuscripts. His nemesis is to find himself held captive by a secret organization, his and his family's lives threatened unless he continues to write in captivity. Charlotte Watson becomes the successful author of his stories, beginning with Humanity's Sunset over Osaka Bay, a dystopian science fiction fantasy.
The story within the story continues with the characters and the premise of Humanity's Sunset, as Charlotte becomes famous and forces Indigo to edit and prepare more of his unpublished manuscripts.
Will Indigo ever be able to escape from this oppressive captivity? Will he see his family again? Does the dystopian tale of Humanity's Sunset carry messages for a different world? Or will he continue to be Sentenced to Obscurity while someone else takes credit for his work?
Many hooks and twists in the plot make this well-written story a gripping read.

About the Author
Oznonymous is the sci-fi and mystery pseudonym of historical-fiction writer D. J. Meyers. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Oznonymous wrote poetry and short stories from the age of ten. Subsequent years were spent writing the words and music for a variety of songs. Thirteen years ago the itch to write a novel was scratched, and after several attempts, these completed tomes were placed on the Internet for review by others. Lessons learned, and style adjusted, The Renaissance Series was begun. Tales of Yorr became the first of these, focussing on the legend of the skeleton in the car park and the myths of history's winners. This was followed by two loose sequels - Birth of Venus, which delves into the life and loves of Sandro Botticelli, and The Whispering Mime - a reconstruction of Elizabethan England and the origins of one particular bard named William. A Gripping StoryReviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 November 2017
A book within a book, walls within walls. ...Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 September 2016
A book within a book, walls within walls. A spectacular success in examining both the trials of being an author and the legacy of ones work Captivated, captured – his work stolen, his live stolen, and the tale that is his, defining a dystopian future. Sentenced to Obscurity is the work of an incredibly gifted writer. I look forward to other works in this series.
