This headset sounds great, the audio quality when paired with the EPOS Gaming software (although limited in its functions) is awesome. The headphones are comfortable for long periods of time. When I got them I was concerned about their cheap, plastic feeling, but this lends to their lightweight fit. This also gives them a lot of give, so they don't feel like they are crushing your head but also like they won't fall off when getting up or down.
The microphone sound quality is great in my opinion for a wireless headset. The flip up boom mic allows for an easy mute. Unfortunately, the EPOS software does not have very many options for microphone editing, and the options they do have make little to no difference in your voice output.
Other reviews have mentioned the left ear-cup clicking noise. This is present in my pair as well, with latest updates applied. It isn't very noticeable or loud, and tends to happen more when not playing any audio. I have also experienced the headset mic giving myself a high-pitched voice if moving away, this is very rare however and was fixed by rebooting the headset.
EDIT: Neither of the above issues have happened in a long time, probably a firmware update along the line. Also, PS4 compatibility is instant and works great!
VERY Long lasting battery
Non-leatherette ear pads
Cons: (all software updates were made as of the end of march)
Should use a stubby dongle and not a full length one.
Sometimes get a crackle noise in the left ear cup (not the only person to hear it, there's a few posts on reddit also)
Mic stops working sometimes when PC is rebooted, requiring dongle to be unplugged and re-plugged.
Power button is very loose.
Mic is WAY too large and should either be removable or tuck-able into the earcup.
Overall, the main selling point for me was the battery life, which it did deliver, but the other issues could not be overlooked (mainly the crackling noise) which is why i returned it.
I read a lot of articles and reviews online and the Sennheiser GSP 370 received a lot of praise. So I decided to give it a shot.
I did not find this headset uncomfortable but it was not comfortable either. It felt a little tight but I do have a rather large head.
The ear cups are pretty small, barely fitting over my ears. I was not a fan of their shape either which seems designed to minimize internal space. The material over the padding is vinyl and has a soft velvet-like coating on the surface that touches your head. I imagine that this would eventually start to peel like most vinyl. It also got warm after some time and sweat makes it feel a little icky. I much prefer breathable cloth for this application.
The audio was decently clean. It has a crisp sound but felt slightly lacking in the low frequency range. I could live with this.
All plastic and vinyl. This is fine but there is nothing that stands out as being of particularly high quality considering the brand name. The boom make feels kind of old school and I much prefer retractable types that disappear into the headset. It's very light which I appreciated but I definitely would not wear this on my morning commute.
Bottom line: A decent sounding headset but falls short on comfort and aesthetics.
Sizing issue aside, the build quality is great as expected and the headset connected without any problems. Such a shame they made this small for whatever reason. I would not have returned the product if the headband extended just like their other ones.
