Nancy does a wonderful job of wrapping up my series of Christian self-help books. (Check me out on Goodreads to see the list I've read this summer and fall.) This is definitely not preachy, but then again, neither were the others. She gives real-world examples of how you can live the self-aware life. She quotes well-known psychologists and therapists. The steps are easy to follow, you just have to commit yourself to do them. If you want to improve your outlook on life, I recommend this book.
It does have a formatting issue and a handful of missing words/repeated words. By formatting, the time to read is set to the whole book, not each chapter. I prefer to know how long it will take me to read a chapter over the whole book. The chapters aren't long and have subheadings. There were times when I stopped at a subheading and if I read a page or two more, I could have stopped at the end of the chapter. Time to read a chapter is very important to me.
