The Seekers is book 28 in the Krewe Hunters series by Heather Graham. I have never read anything by this author but my dad raves about her so when given the opportunity to read this book I jumped at the chance. Although this is along way into a long series I had absolutely no trouble following the story and the characters. In fact I feel the need to now go back to where it all began and read the series from the start. For me this was a very quick and fun read but not without its drama and gore. I really enjoyed my first Heather Graham read.
The Krewe Hunters are a group of agents which special abilities - they see and feel things that other people don't. After the brutal and ritualistic murder of a female FBI agent who was working on a kidnapping of a teenager, the Hunters are called in for their expertise. The victim was found in the basement of an old haunted house where historical non fiction writer Kerri is working with a group of ghost hunters on a web series. The crime scenes shows similarities with murders for the 1920's in the very same house. A story of paranormal activity, ghosts, murder and even a love story. This book has something for everyone and is definitely worth picking up.
