I Couldn’t Put It Down

I love this author’s writing style because she makes you feel the passion that her characters have for not only their SO’s but for their club as well. Now we get to see how Koda’s passion for both are given center stage in this amazing MC book.

Koda’s older brother, Zero is Prez of the Houston Defiance as was his father. Koda needs to prove he isn’t the “kid” any longer and deserves a spot within Defiance as well. Even though he has been through so much in his life he still needs to prove to those around him that he is more than ready to join the club he loves so much.

Thayleah has been taken in with the Blood Brothers MC and has now set out on her own going to the same college that Koda is attending. She too has a backstory that is heartbreaking and she survived with some lasting trauma Koda is helping her overcome.

This book was full of action, drama, secretive societies, psychos, friendships and love. This whole series is amazing and Koda and Thayleah’s story is no different. Prepare yourself of one crazy cliffhanger that has me waiting on pins and needles because I have to know what is going to happen next!!

Koda brother to Zero and Prinie has been sent to Stonewall a prestigious school to not only get away from Defiance but to show his worth and grow up.

Whilst there he meets Thayleah a girl who just happens to be from another MC Sparks fly.

But can Koda keep her safe from what the Dean of the school wants from him.

And will everything turn out ok for them?

It's hot, sexy, loving, sweet, heartbreaking and of course it's all Defiance and family.

Again another wicked read.

I have been waiting for Koda's story and I was happy to see that it is finally here. Koda is the little brother of Zero who is the Houston Defiance MC president. All his life he has been treated as a kid and all Koda wants to do it prove himself worthy of being patched in, To get more life experience Koda has been sent to Stonewall College where he meets Thayleah who also has ties to another MC club. I didn't enjoy this read as much as the others as it was based more around the college and not the MC but I can see why the author has written the book like this so we can get their back story. This book did end on a cliffhanger so I cant wait to see what happen in the next book and I think there will be more of an MC presence in that one.

Loved Koda and Thayleah’s story. Both have seen the worst of mankind and yet find a kinship in each other.
The writing is fast paced and sharp … it had me constantly turning the page to find out what would happen. This one ends on a cliffhanger so if that’s not your thing, then this book may not be for you but I urge everyone to give it a go. Loved learning more about their backgrounds. This one is set in college rather than the MC but it still will hold your attention until the end … I won’t spoil it for anyone but I can’t wait for the conclusion of their story.

Koda is the brother to the president Zero and sister to Prinie. Even though Koda is the youngest he is proving to be just as strong as Zero but he needs to learn when to ask for help! Tayleah seems to keep getting herself in trouble and it’s never her fault - hopefully things will work out for her and Koda can save her in time……

I love it when KE Osborn and Addison Jane co-author books, SECRETIVE is no exception, and was a wonderful surprise. Kim and Addison bring together their two MCs, Houston Defiance and Brothers OF Blood, when Koda Walker and Thayleah Ryan meet at Stonewall University. Both Koda and Thayleah had suffered tragedy in their life, now was the time to find themselves and prove to those who love them most, that they could be more than who they appeared to be.

At fifteen Koda witnessed the murder of his parents. Then, he was taken away from the only home he had ever known by his older sister, to keep him safe. From the moment they meet, Koda and Thayleah have an instant attraction, a chemistry that is undeniable and unavoidable. There's more though, they have a deep understanding of each other because of their similar backgrounds. I enjoyed the way their friendship evolved and how the trust between them was built with a natural progression. Would their relationship be able to withstand the pressures put upon them by their respective MCs and University life? I loved how quickly protection for Thayleah came for Koda, it was natural, instinctive, as if it were destined to happen. The encouragement, support and love they have for one another was endearing, it only made me love them more. Will their new found strength and happiness last, or will outside forces intervene?

Kim and Addison have given Koda and Thayleah's story everything I have come to love from their writing. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, emotions, friendship, and family ... it's all there to be taken in and enjoyed. There's danger in the form of a secret society, a titanic moment that had me biting my nails, and friends that show where their loyalties truly lie. Koda learns a lot about himself, as does Thayleah, but not everything ends well ... a cliffhanger that will break your heart and desperately wanting the next book in the series, Survive, thank goodness we don't have to wait too long.

Did anyone else feel that 90 % of this book was just copy and paste from other books? I knew that whole story from reading this author’s other books. I even checked the release date because I was thinking that I have already read this book! Don’t get me wrong I think KE Osborn is brilliant!! One of my top three authors. I would read her grocery list if I had the chance! This book just confused me. Well written and a great story but one that’s already been told. I can’t wait for book 8 as I have loved this series from the start. Sorry I kind of went on a bit of a rant. Thank you for all the wonderful books that you have shared. Looking forward to many, many more.
