Andreas settled down beside Annabelle on the steps.

This book is an ad nauseam confused, extraordinarily repetitive, exchange of psychoanalysis theories, between two people, female patient and male doctor, with some sex between them thrown in to try and lighten or create a story line. It fails, and I took to speed reading to try and finish. If this is reality, as it purports to be by the author, then it is for students of psycho therapy, certainly not to be considered as some sort of sexual seductive story as the name of the book implies. One star.

An amazing, beautifully written and deeply moving love story. From Annabelle's instant attraction to Andreas, and their spine-tingling first meeting, The Secret Seduction and The Enigma of Attraction I could not put this book down. The unraveling and complex relationship between psychiatrist and patient when the line is crossed and that trust is broken, is intriguing to say the least. This powerful love story has the most erotic and best sex scenes I've ever read. It left me spellbound and stayed with me for days after reading it. Each word and interaction gave me an insight into the games we play within a relationship and how we unwittingly try to destroy the thing we love most. Victoria Thompson is a brilliant and compelling author who captures perfectly the essence of our fundamental nature. Fabulous!
