School story with a difference

Having read the first book in the series, I was drawn to the next. The same characters are all back for a second term and there is underlying disquiet among some all for different reasons. A very nice. book And I enjoyed it. I am hoping to be able to read them to my granddaughter soon. The author creates very good pictures and even though I am an adult the pictures were excellent - bring on book three!

Reminds me of my years in British schools which is nostalgic. And Anne Digby has good plots in her books to keep the pages turning.
