Product description

Product Description

Robyn Birkin is a blogger, fertility warrior and zen mama who lives in Perth, Western Australia with her husband and daughter, Chloe, a gorgeous result of IVF treatments.

After getting married and travelling the world, at the age of 30, Robyn and her husband decided to start a family, and after 12 heartbreaking months of trying alone, finally accepted that they had infertility. What came next was a gruelling year and a half of invasive fertility treatments, complications from medications and a soul crushing miscarriage.

On her quest to fall pregnant and manage the incredible stress caused by treatments, Robyn researched, asked questions and reached out to others, discovering a number of powerful strategies to not only help her survive infertility, but thrive despite it.

In this book, Robyn reveals her heartfelt, moving and inspiring journey, and uses her experience to share the lessons she learnt on this life changing journey from trying to conceive to motherhood.

There are so many things I loved about this book. While I think there's a message in here for everyone who has ever started something only to find that it hasn't worked out as they imagined, as a naturopath helping clients with natural fertility I often see clients who overwhelmed with their journey, I loved the sensible and honesty in this book. I love how the author encourages women to do their best but not become obsessed, to trust their professional team and to learn how to accept where you are. If you're undergoing fertility treatments or you're feeling anxious about your fertility this book is definitely worth a read.
