Final Shot by Stacey Lynn can only be described as one epic prologue. Garrett and Lizzie are best friends, but best friends who haven’t spoken to each other in a year. The reasons why does get revealed but in the end doesn’t really solve anything. I have everything crossed that their full length story is released tomorrow because I just need to know how the rest of their relationship plays out.
Mistletoe Misconduct by Stephanie Kay is a great complete book. For such a quick read there is plenty of story told in Anna & Nick’s novella. I really liked how they first meet - it is a favorite storyline for me. Anna is a bit gun shy, and that makes total sense because of her recent past. That past does cause a bit of conflict, but being a novella it was quickly resolved. Nick is a grump with a soft heart, and even though I loved this novella I also would have loved reading a full length novel with him and Anna as well.
JINGLE DEVIL was such a fun sexy read that put a huge smile on my face. It's an age-gap romance that made me laugh, sigh and get pretty hot under the collar.
Mike Weller, coach of the Nashville Devil's hockey team, has been fantasizing about Tessa Risen. He doesn't make any move on her though for two reasons: one, she's his assistant and two, she's half his age. An accidental trip in the office will bring on some unexpected consequences.
I enjoyed Mike and Tessa's story. It may have been a short, but Melissa has packed it with her usual sexiness, chemistry, and a little bit of drama. One thing I do know ... I certainly wouldn't mind unwrapping Coach Weller on Christmas morning. I'd definitely love to see more of Mike and Tessa in the future.

Freak by Lisa Lang Blackney:
Jackson The Freak Jennings to football royalty to his university and most of national tv. He has promises of making it big time so when he intrudes on Willow’s tutoring session with her long time crush she has no clue who he is or what he wants. Jackson found the perfect opportunity to get WIllow’s help so he can pass his English class and he does it in a way that seems will benefit them both but what neither expects is the feelings towards each other. This was such a cute read with a cocky football player finding his one.
Dirty Christmas by Mira Lyn Kelly:
This short story was an absolute delight to read. Noel stole the show with his laidback fun loving attitude and Misty was such a sweetheart that knew how to go with the flow. After they are both stranded by Noel’s teammate and Misty’s sister they decide to take this turn of events into something enjoyable. The more time they spend together they realize just how easy it is to talk to each other about things even the hard stuff. They have fun goofing off and Misty shows Noel a Christmas Eve like one he hasn’t had in years. They form a bond that turns into a heated attraction that neither wants to let go of but when it’s all said and done will such a short a time together be enough for them to have more. I swear I could read a full book of Noel and his antics, he had me laughing and falling in love with him hard.
The Mistletoe by Alexia Chase:
This cute story is showing us a small glimpse of what will come when we get the full story of Saylor and Knox. Saylor was raised by her grandparents after her parents death so she has been sheltered also she is introverted. She keeps to herself, works hard, and finds that men aren’t always a priority but most aren’t attracted to her. Knox is a football player with the looks, crazy ex, and all but once he sets his eyes on Saylor he is singularly focused on making her his. My heart for Saylor because she shied away from so much in life and never she truly belonged. Knox is wanting to finally settle down and not with these fake people only after what he can do for him. This was so sweet and I am so excited that their story is going to be expanded on.
Secret Santa Face-Off by Victoria Denault:
What happens when you cross the grumpy Grinch of a hockey player and add the most joyful little Christmas elf that works in the office for said Grinch’s hockey team? You get a heat filled story filled with pranks, attraction, and so much more. Nolan has he reasons for not liking the holiday season and Felicity’s joyful antics really irk him maybe because of his issues but most definitely because he finds her incredibly attractive. Felicity enjoys this time of year and is always wanting to make the best of it, yet Nolan the Grinch likes to put a damper on her mood. These two go back and forth with their angst filled attraction, their pranks, and moods it was fun and cute
OMG…how does Mira do that!?!
In just a handful of chapters, I was thoroughly smitten! With both the hero AND the heroine!
Misty and Noel clicked immediately. And I fell for them immediately after that. These two together had me smiling. They were so adorable when they were joking around and flirting and being sarcastic and having fun. They made my heart happy.
This short story has it all. Instalove, instacharm, and instadeliciousness. With plenty of feelings and heart flutters and feel-good moments. It was SO CUTE. It’s got humor and Christmassy goodness and a hero who’s absolutely swoontastic.
This was a great addition to the Slayers Hockey series and also a perfect set up for the next book!
I look forward to reading the other stories in this anthology.
Chase is a former professional golfer who returned home to be there when his family needed him the most. While working at the golf course he meets Everly and agrees to not only teach her the game but pretend to be her boyfriend on the trip.
Witty banter and hot chemistry as the trip gives them everything they want both personally and professionally. I have only read Holiday Hole in One by Sierra Hill so far, but I am looking forward to reading the rest of the anthology.
