They broke up ten years ago, & now, after a chance meeting, it seems everyone conspired to get them to try again... But if someone refuses & the other insists, it’s borderline stalkerish... He should have completely apologized & let her come to him, which would have made it better, in my mind...
Keir and Poppy were college sweethearts until Keir moved to Seattle while Poppy stayed in Savannah to finish college. Their plans for the future included each other and they thought nothing could come between them, but distance and misunderstandings ended their relationship and left Poppy with a broken heart.
Ten years later they meet again, and Keir is determined to right the wrongs of the past. Will he be able to convince Poppy to give him a second chance?
This is a second chance at love story between two people who have always belonged together.
A sweet story of young love, mistakes, and second chances. Poppy and Keir were college sweethearts until a misunderstanding ripped them apart. Ten years later, Keir decides it’s time to fix past mistakes and win back the only woman he ever loved. Their story is sweet and sexy with a nice guy alpha who understands the fine art of a good grovel, and a heroine who overcomes her own insecurities to hold on to the one who got away.
Score is a debut novel for this author, which in my eyes totally makes the handful of typos negligible. The characters were likeable even when they seemed young for their age. I love a second chance romance. I look forward to watching this author develop with each book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this premier novel for this author and intend to read future releases as well. In Score we meet Poppy and Kier; college lovers who fell apart suddenly reconnected after life's twists and turns have spat them both out. This second-chance romance is well written and will have me following the Flawed Love series to see what these two are up to.
This book held my heart through every page. I felt the anger and hurt. I liked the relationship Poppy had with her brother, best friend and Keir's family. Everyone made this book work. Thank you for this book.
Score is a sweet, heart-warming, second-chance story with all the elements to make for a great romance. This emotional read is well written with characters you just want to hug and love. A misunderstanding leads to deceit and heartbreak, leaving Keir and poppy devastated and alone to pick up the pieces. They go through ten years of life apart, just going through the motions. But when fate steps in and they meet again, the love is still there. Their bond is undeniable and the chemistry and passion between them sizzles off the pages. I couldn't put the book down and the epilogue was delicious and had me smiling like a loon. I'm so looking forward to Elliot's story and this will not be my last Emma Louise book.
