Product description

Product Description

A dog's love is forever.

A story of love, hope, and never-ending loyalty -- as told by the dog.

Cam McHugh died in a tragic farming accident. He has a message for his son and only his dog can hear him.

Halo is no ordinary dog. Not only can she see ghosts, she can talk to them, too. If only she could tell Hunter that death doesn't mean an end to being around the ones we love, maybe she could help him find his voice again. Unfortunately, she may never have the chance.

Dognapped by the man who threatens to destroy the only family she has ever known, Halo must escape and find her way home -- hundreds of miles away.

Halo's story is for those who want to believe there are places such as Heaven and the Rainbow Bridge, and that angels are always watching over us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loyalty, Hope, Courage, and Love 18 March 2014
By Jan Niblock - Published on Amazon.com

“Say No More” is a book that makes you cry but you just cannot put it down. It is the story of an Australian Shepherd named Halo and her life told from her point of view. It will make you fall in love with her and some of her humans. You will absolutely dislike some of the people that she meets in her life and they will make you so mad that you will want to scream. The sad part about that is there are real people out there like those bad people Halo meets in her life. But there are also those good ones.

This is a story about the fierce loyalty and courage that dogs have in a way that makes you proud to have one in your life. It is also a story about hope and last, but not least, about love. This is one of the best dog stories I have read in quite a while. It is certainly a must read for anyone who has ever loved a dog.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Dog Gone Good Read 5 February 2016

This is a wonderful story. If you grew up watching Lassie like I did, you won't be disappointed with this book. If you are a dog lover, you will love this book. If you have a canine companion, read this out loud to him or her. I would caution that towards the end of the story a rough character used some rough language. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I am about to start book two in the series. I am a big Spencer Quinn fan. This helps with the wait for his next offering to come out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome real-life Aussie story 10 June 2017

I have had 2 Aussies in the past and currently have one Aussie and an Aussie /Corgi mix. They are wonderful dogs and the author really did a great job of presenting their personalities. I really liked the way the book was set up and sequenced as the story unfolded. Also, since my dogs were not and are not "working" Aussies, I really enjoyed the sequences with Halo doing what she was bred to do with herding. A very good read, especially for dog lovers or those who just enjoy a good real-life story that involves a dog as an important part of the story.

5.0 out of 5 stars From a Dog's Refreshing and Sensitive Point-of-View 14 May 2017

Story told by the dog's point-of-view. Well-written with a refreshing spin of things we humans see or do, but from a dog's perspective and sensitivity. I highly recommend and can't wait to dive into the sequels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lives of many dogs 10 May 2017

The good and inhumane lives dog lead all wrapped up into the life of one Australian shepherd. I do not know how any dog could have survived her life. Thank goodness there were some kind people involved in her life. I cried.
