Product Description

I’ve been in love with Jacob Blake since he picked me up in his strong arms. He held me close and promised me everything would be okay. I knew then, I had met the man who would own my heart forever.

I was five years old.

As the years went by, the need and longing for Jacob only increased—at least on my side. Jacob has never seen me as more than his kid sister’s best friend.

I’ve spent my life chasing after Jacob and trying to make him see I’m more than just his sister’s little friend. I never dreamed that by trying to show Jacob how much I loved him, I would also destroy him.

One night that held so much promise, but ultimately destroyed the man I love and broke him in so many pieces, that I don’t know if he can be mended back together.

Jacob “Dancer” Blake

I’m finally home. Out of the hell hole I had been trapped in since killing another man. With the thrust of my knife everything changed.

That night I ended two lives, the scum who had been trying to rape my little sister’s friend... and my own. The other man got the easier out. I live and breathe in a hell I’ll never escape.

My brothers look at me with pity in their eyes. It cuts my insides out.

There’s trouble in the club, trouble all around us and I have to get my head straight. I have to be able to help them. Trouble is, I can’t even help myself. I just keep piling the mistakes up.

Carrie just might be my biggest mistake yet.

Now it’s another night that’s haunting me--a night that I keep repeating even if I shouldn’t.

I’m so trapped in the darkness that I can’t stop myself from going back because she is light.

She wants to save me. You can’t save something as lost as I am.

I’m going to destroy her.

I’ve warned her. Now I’ll show her.

Once again Jordan you continue to blow me away. This story has left me in tears and an emotional blubbering mess. From the first page to the last SAVING DANCER will grip you while it takes you on an incredibly emotional journey of a man who has been through hell and back, and the one woman who might be able to finally set him free. I was desperate to learn more about these characters and the mysteries surrounding them. I cannot and will not ever have enough of the men of SAVAGE MC. I find myself hanging on to every word until I'm out of breath and gasping for air.

Jacob "Dancer" Blake is finally released and back home, but inside his mind is the demons that still haunt him from his time in prison. Carrie has been in love with Jacob since she was little girl but he never saw her as nothing more than his sister's best friend and the woman responsible for him being locked up. This patient, beautiful, and extraordinary woman wants to be the one to chase away his demons and win his heart. Unfortunately this stubborn man has all but given up hope and doesn't believe that he's good enough for her.

From their you're taken on a ride of EMOTIONAL proportions. How does one survive something so incredibly horrendous? How do you keep your head intact and your soul alive when you can't even sleep without feeling his devil's evil touch? SAVING DANCER shows us what the strength of love can really do. Love can keep you going when you feel all is lost. Love can give you strength when your choices are taken away from you. Love can help you survive when your hope is slowly fading away. Love heals and chases away the darkness.

What an incredible, engrossing, and heartbreaking read. Jacob's story is a book everyone should read.

Dancer and Carrie's story had me literally in tears. The subject dealt with here is such an agonising experience for all involved not just the victim. The impact it has on those around you is soul destroying. But when the victim is a male it really makes you think. Think how can this happen to a man. Isn't it only woman? What Dancer endured while he was incarcerated in prison was heartbreaking. It robbed him of his self worth. Made him feel like a weaker person. Jordan dealt with this topic compassionately and with great humility. A man like Dancer who as a brother of the Savage MC he feels like he should have done more to protect himself. Made him feel like less of a man. But in reality it was the perpetrators who were the scum who forced this on him. The story was moving and emotionally heartbreaking. But with love and hope can Carrie and his friends bring him back. Will it be enough? Love what Jordan did with this story.

Powerfully written. I was taken into the story and felt the characters emotions and pain. This felt less about being a part of an MC and more apart the horrendous acts that Dancer and Carrie experienced and the journey it takes to heal, forgive and continue on. The perspective of a crime being committed against the male gender for some reason feels more taboo, more gritty, more confronting. Is it because it is talked about less? Is it because they are perceived as the stronger sex? The act is horrific regardless of your gender, age, race etc. Jordan wrote about it with depth. The toll it took on the psyche was raw and real. For an author to describe something so well that there is no way they could possibly truly know how it feels is a major credit to them.
