Product Description

★★★ Please note this is the fourth book in the Saven Series and it should only be read AFTER Saven Denial. Saven Denial is an ESSENTIAL novella as it continues the story from the point where Saven Disclosure left off.★★★

I’ve promised to protect those I love.
But someone is lying to me.
Will I discover the truth in time to save him?

With war looming in outer space and the Earthen government forced into hiding, the battle for ultimate world domination is only just beginning.

Having accepted her identity, Sadie sets out on a daring quest with her friends, which takes them deep into alien territory. Fraught with tension and danger, the journey is not an easy one, especially when previous adversaries become new allies and cherished friends become suspicious opponents.

As the heirs unite in a bid to restore peace to the galaxy, powerful enemies, determined to exact retribution, surround them on all sides. When hidden agendas and shocking revelations come to light, the fallout is massive.

Sadie’s love life is a tangled, messy affair. While one relationship is embraced forever, another spirals out of control, threatening to destroy everything. Determined to do the right thing, Sadie will fight hard to protect those she loves.

But there are some battles she cannot win.

"A fantastic young adult, fantasy/sci-fi, dystopian romance full of drama, angst, thrills, and sweet swoonage with amazing new worlds, endearing characters, and a plot that’s unputdownable.” ★★★★★ TJ Loves to Read

First things first, if you have read any other book by Siobhan Davis and liked it, then you will like this one; go out, buy it, read it, love it.

Secondly, if you have read all of the previous books in the Saven series and liked them; go out, buy this, read it, love it.

But, make sure you’ve read the Saven novella, Denial, first. You really have to read it before Saven Defiance.

Okay, so this book was amazing. I’ve read it twice, and I still got to places where I had to tell my husband- I need mommy time to go read for 10 minutes because I’m in a spot where I can’t stop. Also, it was one of those books where there was so much happening in the last few chapters that my fingers were gripping my kindle, and my eyes were drilling into the page, and I was reading as fast as possible because there was SO MUCH GOING ON.

Seriously, this book is chock full of happenings. Lots of secrets are revealed, and there are a bunch of plot twists.

There are so many things that I want to talk about but I don’t like posting reviews with spoilers. So, I’ll keep it vague.

First of all, we get some good resolution on the Ax/Sadie/Logan triangle. Who will she choose? You’ll find out in this book. I’m Team Logan, so this book was hard for me in some ways because Ax really got on my nerves. I feel bad for him, because he’s coming from such a tough place, and his life has been so rough, but I don’t like how he dealt with things. But, it was in a love-hate kind of way, as in, it’s so well written, and so believable that you just find yourself wanting to yell at the character, but you’re not really mad at the author for writing it- if that makes sense.

We met a new character in this book called King Coryn, and he’s the king of an alien planet Narik.

Saven Defiance is the easily the best in the series so far, with the author’s writing defying possibilities and improving with each novel. The words and worlds glide seamlessly throughout the story, with not one plot hole or issue. The action, tension, romance and revelations make this thoroughly un-put-down-able.
The reader sees more of new and likeable characters like Dali, Axton, Izzy and Rylan, as well as meeting others such as King Coryn, creating a great variety of people and personalities to take part in the story. You can relate in some way to all the characters, helping to make them understandable, yet not predictable. Sadie, Logan and the group all have to face their enemies and shoulder their responsibilities, whilst those who are fighting them are investigated to make some shocking discoveries. The characterisation is believable in the way they each evolve during the story, with brilliant detail that makes them spring off the page.
The plotline is fantastic, with snippets of action interspersed with romance and tension, flawlessly laid out. With an initially fast pace, it accelerates to breakneck speed (in a comprehensive manner, I might add) to complement the hyperactive atmosphere, so it just gets better and better. Developing organically, the plot forms twists that shock the reader but make perfect sense on reflection.
To start reading is to start feeling the all-consuming emotions of the world and the characters, such is the meticulous detail used to describe the planets and environments that feature. The scene is not one to just visualise, but one to fall into – with such appealing destinations and dangerous missions, this world entirely tops reality.

I was lucky enough to obtain an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have loved Siobhan Davis' work since I first read True Calling. I continued to be enthralled as I began reading the Saven series. With this newest installment, I was wowed once again. There is so much going on in this volume. We've got betrayals and loss, and understanding and revelations...we learn more about the characters we have come to love in the first two books. We learn more about the characters we've come to hate as well, and maybe, possibly change some opinions on those. Once things are out in the open we learn to see certain people's actions in a new light. There is a lot of action in this book as well, we've got fighting and war, we've got travel within planets and among will be taken on a ride throughout the course of this book and you will find yourself wanting to keep reading past the time when your eyes want to close for the night! There is a "to be continued" at the end and you'll be eager for the next book or novella in the series.

I will continue to read Davis' work and I will continue to recommend her novels to those who love Dystopian fiction, Sci Fi, and/or Futuristic romance genres.

*I received an eARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.*

This book killed me! This one is undoubtedly one of my favorite in this series. Gosh this was super addicting and those who haven't started this series yet, you guys don't know what you are missing on because this series keeps getting awesome and awesome!
*A little spoilery if you haven't read the previous books in this series.*

Like the previous books, Saven Defiance picks up from where it was left off. Sadie has returned to earth with his Tor companions Ax and Izzy. She learns that Logan is in the clutches of Dante, his elder brother who has gone rouge and is planning a massive attack soon. She doesn't have a clue how to handle her situation with Ax, with whom she shares a past and trust is becoming an issue among all of them. And someone is hiding a massive secret. Can Sadie save Logan in time or will she be too late this time?

The plot was just awesome! I don't have a single complaint about this book because I was hooked from the very first page. And the massive revelations and revelations that happened took my breath away, literally! This book was filled with action, adventure and romance and I loved all of it. Sadie has returned from Tor but her friends doesn't trust her anymore but her main focus is to rescue Logan and then deal with everything. I liked how Sadie handled things in this book, albeit sometimes it was a bit reckless but I liked it nonetheless. Something or the other kept happening throughout the book which kept me thoroughly engaged. I want to say much more but I don't want to spoil it for you guys!

I loved Sadie as always, she is such a strong character and she cares so deeply about the people she loves.
