Product Description

Nate Palmer is desperate enough to try anything to find his missing niece...
Nate has cared for his niece Beth since she was a baby, and now the sixteen-year old has disappeared without a word. The only clue he has is a letter she left behind from her birth mother. He'd do anything to find her, even if it means turning to a down-on-his-luck private investigator working out of a store front in a strip mall—one with the ability to sniff out more clues.

Dexter Armstrong is a lone wolf looking to use his tracking skills to do some good...
Dexter had a pack once, but left, disgusted by their lack of appreciation for their gift. But business is bad and his roof is leaking. He's just about ready to throw in the towel on that lonely life when Nate walks in the door, looking helpless and smelling delectable.

Together they will travel to the seediest parts of LA
Even as he's focused on finding his niece, Nate can't help but be drawn to Dexter's powerful dominance. And Dexter becomes more and more certain that Nate's his fated mate. Can their attraction survive the reveal of Dexter's true nature? And can they both survive the supernatural perils that they will face in their quest to find Beth—and to find the kind of love and family both have been dreaming of?

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally worth the read. 6 December 2015

I was asked by this author to read and review this book. I have to say that quite honestly I really enjoyed it. I thought that it was well written with a well laid out plot. I was impressed by the length of this book. I have read a lot of this style and they tend to be shorter and less involved. I was very happy to realize that this author spent more time then some on writing this book. If you like Shannon West or Layla Cole then you will enjoy Ceci Thornton.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read M/M 3 December 2015

This is a very hot M/M book. This is the first book I have read from Ceci Thornton and I am so happy she sent me this book for an honest review from me. This is one author I will happily be following and buying from in the future. She is well written and has a great story line too.

Nate has been watching after his teenage niece and she runs away from home. Her mother was a drug addict (he thought) and her father )Nate's brother) is in prison. He hires a PI Dexter Armstrong to look for her. Dexter happens to be a werewolf shifter. A lone wolf at that.

This story is not just about Nate and Dexter and the mystery surrounding his missing niece. It is also about his sister in law and also other super naturals that are out in the world. We also get to see if Nate and Dexter are fated mates.

If you like male/male books I highly recommend this one.

There's very few books that I'm unable to put down the moment that I pick them up, and this book? Was one of them. It's one of those that grab you right from the very beginning, grips your attention and doesn't let go until you've read that final word. I have to admit, this normally isn't the type of book that I would read, however I was asked to give my honest review of it when the book was sent to me for free, and that is just what I'm going to do.

This book has a mixture of just about everything a reader could want. The characters are very well thought out, and seem to mix together wonderfully, yet still leaving behind that 'mystery' feeling about them. The only bad thing I can say about this book right now is that there isn't another one to follow after you've finished it. Hopefully that will come soon enough.

I'd very highly recommend reading this book if you get the chance!
5.0 out of 5 stars I Couldn't Put It Down!!! 11 December 2015

This story is about Nate and Dexter. Nate is trying to find his missing niece Bethany. Dexter is a werewolf and a private investigator. Bethany’s mom left when she was very young and her dad is doing time in prison. Nate thinks that Bethany left to go and find her mom after finding a note left by her saying to come and find her. Nate goes to Dexter to help him find Bethany. When they find out that Bethany is okay and with her mom Nate thinks everything is okay until they find out that Bethany’s mom is a vampire and there not sure what plans she has for Bethany. While they are traveling to rescue Bethany, Dexter and Nate's relationship is progressing nicely except for the fact that Dexter still hasn’t told Nate that he’s a werewolf. Will Nate stay with Dexter when he finds out that he is a werewolf? Will they get to Bethany before anything happens to her? You’ll just have to read the book to find out. I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the story line and the character development. I loved how the author portrays Bethany as a rebellious 15 year old and how she was an angel up until then. I loved the chemistry between Dexter and Nate. I loved the fight scene between the vampires and the wolves. I can’t wait to read more books by Ceci Thornton. I received this free book in exchange for an honest review.
3.0 out of 5 stars A GOOD STORY FOR THOSE INTO THE WOLF SHIFTER THING 7 December 2015
By Blatimore Phil - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I received this book for free for an honest review. Frankly, I'm not into the wolf shifter pack thing. However, having said that I found the book with enough content to keep an ongoing interest. Although, the sexual interludes were well done and not overdone(perhaps four scenes), I wonder what if the other protagonist didn't like being a bottom only. Oh well, I guess the wolf lucked out in selecting a one sided partner. This is a short , tight story not entirely centered on two guys making out. Admittedly, I wasn't too involved in the story but it did have character development, an intriguing plot and smooth transitions. The author does have talent in bringing out the various characters with humor, warmth and vividness. The ending did tie up loose ends and felt complete. I think if one enjoys this type of story it would turn out as a pleasurable past time .
