Super light, love that.
Breathable mesh upper.
Memory foam insole not dense enough and can't be removed.
Too narrow and tight in the toes to add an insole on top of the memory foam to try to salvage the shoes.
Not enough EVA in forefoot.
I bought this shoe on sale based on rave reviews but it didn't work out for me as well as it did with others. It is super light and I love that. I never knew how much I appreciated an ultra light shoe until I put these on. And the mesh upper is very breathable and gives it a slipper like feel. However... I don't find the shoe very comfortable. The "memory foam" non-removable "insole" gives an interesting if not pleasant feel in each step but it fully collapses under very little weight so there's this sort of disconcerting sensation of soft plushness immediately followed by a much more dense EVA midsole material. It literally takes like 1lb of pressure with your finger to fully push through the foam. There is enough EVA under the heel but not enough at the forefoot. Strangely on my left forefoot I can even feel the triangular lugs creating uncomfortable pressure points but on my right foot it just feels hard. I am 6'2" 200lbs. for reference. Also it's quite narrow and tight in the toes. I don't have a wide foot. I am a fan of Hokas which are ultra plush and Altras which have a wide toe box so like I said these just didn't work out for me but may be great for you as they seem to be for many others. If you have strong feet as well as narrow feet or don't weigh as much as I do or haven't experienced extremely plush shoes then you will love these. I was really excited about these when I ordered them based on reviews but they are going back. This will be my first shoe return. Now time to find an ultra-lite shoe that works better for me.
