Product description

Product Description

The Arvy threat worsens each day. They continue to destroy the hives vital fuel resources, leaving us with one option—evacuate to the largest government bunker, located in South Dakota.

The injured hive members are moved as first priority, but a disastrous even occurs on the way to our drop-off zone. We find ourselves in a ghost town, surrounded by spiteful, revenge-filled Arvies. Chaos ensues and our death toll rises. Just when we think the end has come, unsuspected help arrives. We are rescued and brought to an underground bunker.

They call it Sanctum.

With no way of reaching outside help, we must depend on each other to reach our pick-up zone, thirty miles away. If we don’t make it in time, we will be left for dead.

Time is ticking.

My name is Abigail Park. I am a survivor.

This book was simple and a bit repetitive in some ways but it had a decent storyline and interesting characters. It needs to be finished with a 4th book as the storyline isn't complete despite there being 3 books already but I will purchase the next one to find out what happens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second book did not disappoint 25 July 2014

WOW, this book did NOT disappoint. This book starts right where ARV left off. Abi and Finn are in for another hair raising adventure. Now that they are forced to leave the safety of the government bunker, if anything can go wrong, it does. What I liked most about this book was that it wasn't predictable. You learned more about the Arvies and their will to do nothing but destroy all that is living. I really grew to hate these "beings". I loved how Abi and Finn's love really seemed to blossom. This book as it all, suspense, Love, Action, and the thing I Love most about the book is Abi is a girl that is not to be messed with. She can hold her own and is as much of a soldier as Finn and the guys. She is a true girl to look up to. She does show some weakness, but to me, that just makes her human. If you want a face paced, action filled, romance story, this is for you!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Such an amazing perk, cause I get to see it before ... 26 July 2014

I haven't been this excited about a new book in a series in a long time. This book is everything I wanted it to be, and even more being from Cameo Renae, more than I expected it to be. I am a huge fan of Cameo's work and feel entitled to be on her short list of Beta readers. Such an amazing perk, cause I get to see it before the rest of the public. I was literally devouring this book. It's such a fast read I know you will not put it down. I found myself reading it so fast as the action was happening. I love these characters and Cameo has an amazing way of describing the action so you can see it so perfectly in your head while your reading the story. I admit I am one of those people who loves to get lost in a great book. A great escape from the every day world into a sweet story of young love, enduring odds that we couldn't have begun to even think of. They keep their morals and beliefs inside them no matter what the world has become around them. This gives me such hope that no matter what happens in this world, there will still be a chance that good people will still be around. Thank you Cameo for another great read and I fully expect it to be another best seller.
4.0 out of 5 stars I need book three yesterday 24 March 2017

It's like a 4.5 for me, closer to a 5 because the writing and flow were good, the story was fast-paced and consistent, because it was engaging and pretty exciting. It isn't quite a whole 5 for me because some of the dialogue was a little cheesy for my taste, and though I have no problem with that, it was just the way they spoke that seemed so different from the first book (and the ambiance) but this is just a personal opinion. I liked the action that balanced out with the romance. Totally smiled and teared (okay cried) and overall it's just a really good book I dug. I like this series so far, with the way it's a zombie apocalypse but not because the monsters are still alive and breathing. They're just... mutated. And I seriously like where this is going with the main character. I hope to see a bit more "OMG" moments with her and them figuring out a way to defeat the Arvies. Definitely something to check out if you love Dystopian, the Apo-themes, young love (best friends people!) and the classical immoral man that you just love to never have in your life (good luck with that).
5.0 out of 5 stars I am so afraid of ......... 1 April 2017

Abi and the family are in the government bunker, but all is not as it seems. Finn gets sent out on a mission, and has to be rescued. One of the girls in the bunker thinks she can take Finn from AbI, and feelings get hurt, a point has to be made, and Abi gets sent to a cell for not following the rules. But one of the guards attacks her, and she is saved at the last minute by Pike, another guard.

Abi is different somehow. She gets a headache when the Arvies are near. But she didn't want anyone to know. They have to leave that bunker and go to a bigger one because it gets overrun. But the helicopter goes down.

They are in the middle of nowhere. Will the Arvies attack and kill them all?? Can they walk the 30 miles to get picked up??

Read on my friends. It's a great book.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Series Just Gets Better As it Goes! 19 August 2014

f you read books by Cameo Renae, then I don’t have to tell you how awesome of a writer she is. Her books are all Young Adult, but I think she appeals to adult readers as well. They are all bestsellers as well. With the influx of so many dystopian books, I have been very picky with which ones I read, and this series is a must read for me.

***Please note, if you plan on reading ARV-3, this review contains information about that book. I would read it first before reading any spoilers.***

The first in the series, ARV-3, told the story of Abi, a resident of an underground silo, and part of a group of survivalists. She’s seventeen, and in love with her best friend, Finn. They grew up together after a catastrophic event leaves the world pretty much dead-with the exception of the ARV-3’s, or Arvies as they are called. These are humans that were unable to find shelter from the radiation and after receiving an untested vaccine against the radiation sickness, have morphed into flesh eating monsters. After an arduous journey to a safe zone, the group are now part of a regimented life and separated most of the time from each other. Now the Arvies are outside the safe zone, and the entire group needs to leave in order to survive. This is where this book starts. Sound exciting? That’s because it was.

What I liked about this book:
This book was pretty much non-stop action, and when it wasn’t action, it was a very sweet romance between Abi and Finn. Abi may be young, but she is the complete package as a kick butt heroine-one that is actually the best shot of their group from the silo. Finn is the epitome of the swoon worthy young man, one who is also pretty kick butt as well. In this world they have to be, and have trained for most of their life for the world after the silo. They had no idea that life would include monsters. I am trying to keep this spoiler free, but will say, this book puts a new spin on what flesh eating zombies can actually do. Enough said!

What I didn’t like about the book:
I have been sitting here trying to think and I am drawing a complete blank-there just wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this book!

Who would I recommend this book to?
Older teens probably 15 or 16 plus and that’s due to violence only. I also recommend that you read ARV-3 first.

Good characters, scary monsters(some that are not Arvies), romance, and action packed, what else could you want?(
