Product Description

A chance meeting turned my world inside out.

Intelligent, sexy, and rich. With a dash of roguish charm and a cocksure smile, Nathan Blake is the ultimate fantasy. He can have any woman he wants with only a glance.
And he wants me.

My past has left me broken and humiliated, wary of men like him.
I cut myself off from the pain, moving thousands of miles away to escape every reminder, determined to start anew.
I’ve been second best before. It isn't happening again.

One kiss and I'm caught under his spell, drawn to him with every breath I take.
I can't resist.
The passion that explodes between us becomes an intense connection neither of us thought we'd share. Or need.

The suffering inside me reflects his – a pain I know he feels, but can’t bring himself to reveal.

I have no idea his love can heal me – that mine can heal him…
…if only I can let down my guard for him and trust.

Powerfully passionate, breathtakingly sexy and tenderly erotic, Salvation will take you on a captivating journey of finding, fighting and finally giving in to a love that is clearly meant to be.

Intended for mature audiences over the age of 18 due to the sexual content and explicit language used throughout.

Please note that even though this book is set in the USA, it is written from the POV of the female lead who is English, therefore British English vocabulary and spelling has been used.

I love being introduced to new authors and I have to say that I am definitely happy that I got the chance to read this new book by debut author Stephanie John :) The story was quite interesting and intriguing :) I loved the main characters and enjoyed their journey to each other every single step of the way :) The story is quite well written and the leads in it are quite captivating, well developed and interesting. Kara and Nate feel like real people, with flaws and mistakes in their pasts. And all that just makes them easier to relate to and feel their sorrows and happiness while reading the book.

Kara is quite an intriguing character. I have to say that I quite enjoyed seeing her bloom under Nate's attention :) I loved seeing her gaining her inner strength and self esteem again under the tender touch and encouragement of the delicious CEO. Given her past, it was quite understandable that she had trust issues and had difficulties believing that a gorgeous representative of the male species like Nate will be interested in her. I loved reading how Nate was breaking her walls brick by brick while at the same time allowing her to become herself again, the strong and confident individual she was before her ordeal with her ex.

As for Nate, what is there to say... He is definitely gorgeous, confident and simply delicious alpha male that you can all expect. And given his looks, he has every right to be :) I mean who can resist those mesmerizing blue eyes :) At the same time he is tortured by events from his past (I have to say that I am dying to find out what exactly happen ;) ) that come to haunt him again in the face of his ex. Even trough everything he is going through to protect the woman he loves he still finds the time and the way to show his feelings for Kara.

First off I’ll start by saying that I won a copy of this book. I am not sure I would have picked it up, because sometimes you can read too much of a genre (think hot, billionaire male leads) and think, I’ll give this a break…

WELL… I AM GLAD I didn’t ignore this book! If you’re looking for a Contemporary Romance then I think Stephanie John has nailed it with “Salvation”. Right from the get go, the small details of what the character was doing as they were speaking and interacting with the others, was a wonderful addition to assist the brain processing what was happening. It was really non-invasive and had me immersed into the story, immediately.

There were times I could have really throttled Kara, and her need to sabotage things, or keep things from Nate, but all was forgiven when throughout the book it’s revealed what she has kept secret, and why she did. Allowing Nate to break down those walls just makes him so much more swoon-worthy. Instead of getting lost in an arrogant, dominant, billionaire, the reader actually get a gorgeous, handsome, intense, billionaire who has secrets of his own. Secrets that make him the way he is, but all for the better. The use of minor character, Mai, Kara’s assistant and best friend, was a great way of breaking up the storyline and ensuring it wasn’t just about the two main characters.

Nate —- what can I say? A man in a suit, who can command a boardroom…SIGN ME UP! It really works that he isn’tA photo quote from Salvation, a contemporary adult romance novel by author Stephanie John arrogant or aggressive. He has just the right blend of intensity and intrigue that makes him all the more attractive, and Kara a very lucky lady!

The story of Nate and Kara will pull into this erotic romance that is a hot and steamy affair through their relationship. They are not, however, without their troubles - with secrets on both sides that have to be dealt with. Kara has been hurt, humiliated and mentally abused by a previous boy-friend and Nate has been forced to deal with lots of adversity from a previous relationship. Getting them together has been beautifully accomplished by Stephanie John - with great feeling and so much love - you cannot fail to fall in love with this story - even the secondary characters will make you laugh and feel that they are so much a part of this story. The sexy scenes are full of heat and so well described - you will you were there spying and you WILL feel that way as the writing is superb. Read and enjoy being part of this book and with another book to follow will keep you in the mood. Easy to read more than once - I DID THAT. Thank you Stephanie John for a most enjoyable adventure.xxoo. Maggie Smith.

When I was considering whether to read this book I was totally swamped with reviews (what's new?)
So I was almost going to turn it down, (GASP!)
It was the synopsis & the fact that Stephanie Johns is an Aussie author that swayed me, & I'm so glad I read it or I would have missed out on meeting the very swoon worthy Nathan Blake "Nate".

He reminded me of a cross between Hudson Pierce (Fixed Series) and Damian Stark ( Stark Trilogy) the difference is, however that while he is sexy, accomplished, confident and gorgeous he also possesses a sense of modesty and humility that i found so irresistible.

He falls madly in love with Kara and isn't afraid to own it. Kara, however is plagued with doubt over his intentions, and I was on the same page with her throughout this story. I mean what woman wouldn't be intimidated by this gorgeous man.
Imagine having to fight off every beautiful woman in town?

But alas Nate only has eyes for her and their mutual attraction blossoms into an
exhilarating whirlwind romance that we, the lucky readers,
get to experience right along with them. Stephanie has done a fantastic job at bringing to life this story so that your in it..till the last page.

The secondary characters are so endearing and worthy of their own stories.
Salvation is an extremely well written book, that had me feeling all the feels,
and with so much steam I was fanning myself ...HOT!!!!
Definitely left me wanting
more of Nate & Kara.

I gave this 4.5 stars
