Beautiful but penniless, Sarah Killian is forced to accept charity from her haughty London relatives in order to search for her long-lost younger brother. That search leads her to the sordid streets of Seven Dials, haunt of thieves and other criminals, where she discovers her young brother is preparing to take over the role of the legendary Saint of Seven Dials. To prevent him taking such a risk, Sarah decides to assume the Saint's mantle herself, at least until she can find gainful (and respectable) employment.
Lord Peter Northrup is more entranced by the lovely but mysterious Miss Killian than he has ever been by any other woman, but she is very careful of her secrets. When he delves beneath the surface he finds more than he'd bargained for—not only intelligence and courage, but a secret that could ruin him along with Sarah herself, should it become public. But perhaps love is worth the risk...

This time, the famous thief is took over by a young woman, Sarah Killian, she was a street urchin until she was sent on a board-school for poor orphaned girls. Now she is back in London and is looking for her younger brother. To protect him before he goes back to his old way as a sneak thief, she decides to stand as The Saint himself.
To do so, she must also manage with her position as a ward for a distant relative, where she is find herself often in contact with the kind but also too curious Lord Peter Northrup.
Peter is far more than his cheerful attitude and his selection of very colorful choice of clothing let imagine.
He hides his wounds earned during the war behind a facade of a gallant dandy always aware of the new gossips. And Sarah is a kind of mystery to him, he knows she is more than meet the eyes but she has secrets, secrets she is unwilling to reveal.
Together they are a lovely duet, Peter always trying to make her feel worthy even if it is sometime clumsily done. Sarah is having problems to see herself fitting in his life, plus her robbery actions can at any time put a stop to their burgeoning relationship.
Even if in their inner core, they know the other is their perfect match, they struggle to find the right moment of open their thoughts, fearing to break their fragile truth, by then rising false presumptions to another.
A lovely adding to this awesome series.
