I reside in Central Florida with the wife and two daughters. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight, keeping Man alive. For some it was meant to be their calling. For others... not so much. All however are willing to fight until the end. Flip open one of my books. Tag along as unlikely heroes try to conquer the galaxy or save all humanity. Get aboard as you're either with us or against us. This may be your ticket out of here... at least for a short while. Hope you have a great day!

I just finished the first book in the Sodium series and look forward to reading the second. I really enjoyed the Hadron series and hope this series is just as good. The first book is written in the first person and the character although not too interesting shows promise of developing into something better as the book evolves. Unfortunately he disintegrates into a weak selfish man striving to prove the existence of aliens. He finally finds thevproof he was looking for but his friends and family have moved on without him and that is when he realises what his obsession has cost him.
written in first person character style which I didn't mind at all. however, the character telling the story was an idiot. did have to raise my eyebrows at him attacking a thirty foot alien ship with a baseball bat. If it wasnt for the fact that I know this author can tell a good tale I probably would not have finished this one. I enjoyed the Hadron and AMP series so I will read the second in this series and see where it leads
this is my favorite series but the first book is plain boring i feel like I'm reading a prologue to a boring series but the rest of it is amazing don't waste your money skip the book read the next
Hats off to anyone who puts pen to paper, but I found this book really difficult.
The first chapter was strange in that there was no dialogue. Nor was there filling in of details to set a scene. e.g. I walked to the creek, the water was cold. After a minute it was ok.
By page 84 of no dialogue, I had zero investment in any of the characters and hoped they would start dying. I doubt even that would have been interesting.
What broke me was the lines where: Bull went to observe the aliens. I decided to go back down to the creek to catch a fish....
Sorry, but the chance to observe aliens trumps fishing with no bloody fishing rod...
The narrator was supposed to have ODD but I know folk with OCD and this didn't have it. He was just weird.
I gave up at page 84 and decided to find a better book. Any book. 52 Things To Do While You Poo was handiest...
I hate giving 1 star reviews, as effort went into writing it, but the book was kak. It was written in the manner I would expect a young teenager to own a story. With no attention to detail and trying to explain situation after the event. e.g. I decided to pick some gooseberries. I had been shown earlier which berries were good to eat. With zero mention of berries previously.
Sorry, but all the other reviews aside, there are much better books out there.
This is a simple story of survival in the words against alien reconnaissance. The build up is fantastic and the three of the main characters are very well fleshed out.
I finished this book quickly as I was always too eager to see what would happen next.
Highly enjoyable.
For those who like space battles Etc, this is not for you. It's set in the woods for the majority of the time.
Well worth a read if you like survival and sci fi books and for free you cant ask for more. Very entertaining, well written with great characters. I look forward to reading other works by the author.
