Book 2 in Terry Spear's SEAL Wolf Series

Can an Alpha Wolf Who's Met His Match Survive the Holidays with Her?

Navy SEAL Bjornolf Jorgenson has had tough missions before, but going undercover with feisty gray wolf Anna Johnson could top the list. She drives him crazy—in more ways than one. Now he has to investigate a murder, supervise a wild teenage wolf—and handle Christmas with Anna.

For Anna, the only thing worse than staging the perfect family Christmas is having to do it with Bjornolf posing as her husband. Anna is a serious undercover operative who isn't afraid of a fight, even with a hunky SEAL shifter. With a killer on the loose, Anna just wants to focus on their mission, but the one thing she can't fight is her sizzling chemistry with Bjornolf.

This was the most disappointing story in the Heart of a Wolf series. Two of the most interesting characters got the worst storyline and their swags weren't in the forefront. They should have stayed in the rainforest; their story should have been a dangerous mission where their tactile talents were exercised and challenged as they relied on each other to survive. They could have played house in an exotic setting. The plot went downhill when their plane landed in Oregon for the second mission. Other plot ideas: (1) some group wanting to seek revenge against the "Ghost" could have been the villains and captured him causing him to need Anna (without Hunter's team) to save him, (2) Anna could have been on another mission without Hunter's team and she got caught up in something she couldn't get herself out of; but, Ghost becomes aware of her need for rescue and he's on it or (3) the Wentworths suspects that Hunter and Anna are werewolves and capture them to study them because they want to manufacture drugs that harness their bodies regeneration abilities. The point is there are a lot of other plot choices Spears could have made rather than what was selected for this book. Really all the women in the world and Wentworth had to have let me mess up your Xmas tree Dottie. Again the sex scenes written by Spears don't sizzle. You have wolves; yet, the sex is so vanilla, unimaginative with little stamina. I don't recommend this book in the series.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Christmasy Paranormal Read with Sexy Shifters!!!!! 31 October 2013

I became a huge fan of Terry Spear's after reading A Howl for a Highlander. LOL! I actually purchased every book in that series after reading that one book. I couldn't wait for the series to catch up with this new release as I just loved the cover ...

Neither Navy Seal Bjornolf Jorgenson nor undercover operative Anna Johnson looked forward to Christmas. They'd each had a rough time growing up and Christmas just wasn't on either's radar. LOL! Neither was a relationship... but when they were assigned a mission in which they'd have to play a happy newlywed couple, each knew it would take everything they had to fight the attraction they felt for the other. Their top priority, though, would need to be focused on finding the killer of two DEA agents at a Christmas Tree farm before he finds them.

This book can be enjoyed as a stand-a-lone though I can tell that IF I had been reading the series in order, I would have enjoyed getting updates on the characters who have appeared in the series prior to this book. Terry is very good, though, about providing enough information about what has taken place previously in the series so that my enjoyment of this book was not affected by not having done so.

Terry Spear's books are always fabulous reads and this one is not an exception. IF you're looking for a romantic paranormal read with sexy shifters, pick up one of Terry's books.

VERY GOOD! 4 Stars!

I loved this story. Burning and Anna were fantastic. They are both SEALs. The chemistry was great and their passion was all consuming. Terry Spear just knows how to weave great stories. I loved how the author brought so many of her previous characters into this. It informed those of us who have read her previous books some of the outcomes of those other characters.

You will love this story. I wholeheartedly recommended this.

Terry Spear's new release, A Seal Wolf Christmas, is another of her sexy, exciting wolf stories, combining romance and heart-stopping adventure, that has you enthralled with the characters from the first page. The characters find themselves in situations that has you on the edge of your seat, unable to stop reading. Terry's wolf novels include familiar characters from previous stories, ensuring that you feel like you're a part of their family when you read them, enticing you to read about the other characters in their own stories.Whether it's about Jaguars, Highlanders or Highland wolves, Terry's stories will have you hooked from beginning to end.
5.0 out of 5 stars Review of A Seal Wolf Christmas by Diva Donna 30 October 2013

I especially enjoyed this book, and her dedication was really close to my heart. Terry Spear writes a exciting non-stop action packed, nail biter, with teeth and lots of growling, and Mistletoe, Tree farm and Christmas magic, and a dash of young love , sexy romance with attitude, and enough steam to cloud up my glasses. And being that I've read all the books in this series. I was so happy to finally read about the mysterious , and oh so wolfy Navy Seal Bjornolf Jorgenson and the feisty Anna Johnson's story. This book is as good as it gets!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
