Product Description

From New York Times Bestseller, Sharon Hamilton, comes a sexy standalone novel.

Special Operator Nick Dunn gets the call he has been dreading since before his last deployment. His sister needs him to come home.

Devon Brandeburg, is Nick’s sister’s best friend. Her career is her main focus and she insists that she doesn’t need a man to mess it all up. Especially not one with an ego the size of Nick Dunn’s. Being forced to work with him isn’t something she wants or needs, but honoring her best friend’s wish is more important.

What starts as a simple promise turns out to be a hot affair neither one expected. When Nick finds out both the women he holds dearest are in jeopardy, he does what he has to. He's too late to save one of them, but will he be able to save the other?

*Author Note: SEAL Brotherhood is a collection of standalone books following a different SEAL team member.

While helping his sister tie up her final affairs, Navy SEAL Nick Dunn gets more than he bargained for when a deathbed promise turns into a hot affair with his sister’s best friend in this emotionally gripping contemporary romance. I can’t get enough of the SEAL Brotherhood as every story is adventure laced with strong emotion, passion and intrigue while the author also ensures that there is never a dull moment and Nick and Devon’s story fits right in especially as they have a kind of push/pull relationship that has sparks flying in every direction.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very touching story of family, loss and love 4 June 2017

Others will give you a summary of this book. I will take a different route.
This book will make you cry , laugh, and want to hug your loved ones and keep them close to you.
Yes, Ms Hamilton gives us a lot of hunky SEALS, romance, sexy scenes , suspense and bad guys, but it’s also a story about family, illness, inner pain, and a love of family that no matter how strong and big the ones left behind are, the death of a loved one is hard to take. Sometimes this loss can cause one to close up to those who love us. It is at that moment that they need someone to hold them and make them open up and let go of their emotions.
The main characters, Nick and Devon, as well as Sophie, the ill sister and Mark, Nick’s SEAL brother, are all well developed and so very likable.
A story you will remember for a long time.
I have to applaud the narrator, JD Hart , for a superb delivery of the story.
I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

4.0 out of 5 stars SEAL Brotherhood Book Four 15 April 2017

SEAL Brotherhood Book Four

Devon Brandeburg is not looking forward to her second meeting with her best friend's brother. Nick Dunn is not prepared for his sister's passing, but he knows he has to help her while he can. With Sophie's cancer spreading so quickly, she knows she must leave her plant nursery in good hands. Sophie leaves Devon with the task of selling the nursery to a good person who will take care of her plants and Nick with the task of dating Devon at least five times (real dates, not coffee). The two decide to begin while planning a going-out-of-business sale. When they actually enjoy each other's company, they decide that Sophie might know more than they originally expected. However, Nick is somewhat unstable after his tours at a SEAL.

If you've enjoyed the rest of this series, you will love seeing some of the other SEALs appear in cameos.

4.0 out of 5 stars Emotional ride 24 August 2015

Oh. My. Gawd. What a roller coaster!

Nick has only one living relative, his sister Sophie. She is terminally ill. Nick, just back from a deployment grabs his buddy Mark and makes the trek to Sonoma County in Northern California to help his sister. Sophie's best friend Devon, is also helping get Sophie's affairs in order, but doesn't think much of Nick.

As I began this book, it made me sad. I could see what was coming, although I hoped I was wrong.

Devon and Nick have a conflicted relationship through out the book, and I actually like Nick more than Devon. She seemed to make everything about her. As with most of Ms. Hamilton's Seal series, there is a mystery and this book is no different. I'm so happy Nick and Devon get their HEA...I can't really say any more without major spoilers!

I LOVED Mark and Sophie's interactions. Mark was so good to Sophie!

All is all, this was a good read. I cried a time or two and that was good! I'll continue with this series of books, but probably won't read them on a plane! I needed tissues a couple of times!

5.0 out of 5 stars Intense and emotional read. 15 February 2017

Nick and Devon's story had me go through so many emotions that I had to think for a day before I start another one. This story does have a happy ending (of course) but what the couple and sister go through left me emotional. So many of the Team 3 characters show how family isn't just those who share DNA but those who accept each other and come together in good and bad.

Note: For those who have trigger points, there is an adult situation in one part that may leave some with issues in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharon Hamilton does it again! 27 July 2015

Wow!! This book had me on an emotional roller coaster ride! This was one of my favorites of the series.

The characters were awesome! Their dialogue was engaging, the descriptions to details were so easy to visualize. This was written to where I was drawn deeply into the story and I felt emotionally attached to the characters.

There were laughter and tears (from me) through out the book and many heartfelt moments too. There was so many different sides to this book and it left goosebumps with some of the emotions I was feeling as I listened/read this story.

All in all, a fantastic read. This is written as a multi pov. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Would I recommend this book? Yes!

Would I read more from this author? Yes!!
