I foster kittens and when our rescue get litters with look alikes these are very convenient to be able to tell.the kittens apart. We cut them long enough so they can expand as the kittens get bigger. Yes, some kittens will come out of them because they play rough but they are safer than kitten collars where they can get their paws or head caught in the gaps or hang on something. None of that with these that. And no bells to distract when you are in bed and the kittens are little night owls romping around after midnight. There are times they may lose their adhesive stickiness if on kitten for awhile so new ones have to be provided. Overall though, they have been a great use for our rescue

I selected these because the description says they use genuine Velcro. I wanted Velcro along the entire collar, but these are soft material other than the two ends, which are Velcro or similar...so only the end tabs adhere to the collar. I prefer collars that adhere for the entire length. My pups are 3 week old German Shepherds, and these collars were a step up in size from the ones I used from birth to three weeks, and appear to have enough growth room that they'll continue to work for the next three weeks or so, assuming the short section of Velcro doesn't wear out between now and then with adjustments for growth.

Very good set of little puppy collars

These little collars worked absolutely perfect for my litter of eight Border Collie puppies. I put them on the puppies at a few days old, and they lasted the whole 7-8 weeks until they went to new families (weighing 9-13 ounces at birth and between 7-8 pounds at time of adoption). They would probably good enough to use again. They were soft on each side (almost like a fleece) with a fine velcro on each end. They stayed secure on their necks, and they never pulled or tugged on them because they wore them from little on. I would recommend these to anyone wondering about them. Very satisfied with my purchase.

These worked great for our litter of 6 and lasted much longer than expected- at about 4 weeks! Velcro lasted through taking on and off several times as well as puppy play time with them tugging on each other! They all looked very similar so these were so very helpful!!
