I think Marcus might possibly be my favourite of the screw crew and ‘Ruthless’ my favourite of this Enemies to Lovers series, which is odd because in the previous three books Marcus is my least favourite character. Full of emotion we follow Marcus as he deals with his past, a past that impacts his present with his inability to have a relationship. That all changes however when Willow is accepted into his circle of friends, no matter how much he tries to push Willow away, she manages to break through his impenetrable walls. A story with so many feels, I was happy, I was sad, I was heartbroken. Told in dual POV, a firm favourite for me, hooked from the first page.
Well written and edited enjoyable read. Marcus has such a sad tragic story and Willow really was the person to see through his harsh veneer and be the balm to soothe his soul. I was so glad he made it through. This has been a great series. There is depth as well as humour with some great support characters
