Rob Tacoma is a new CIA operator created by Ben Coes. He is facing the worse of the Russian Mafia, leavng behind many bodies in search of a solution to the problems created in the United States' criminal underworld. The story is fast moving since Tacoma must find the person behind the killing of another law enforcer who was supposed to work with him. The area where he will find himself has no rules and no limits. The characters at times remind the reader of the local news in the newspapers with facts that actually happen every day in some parts of the world. Good reading!
Tacoma gets his own series and it's brilliant. First book is obviously setting things up to give the back story and put everything in place for the future adventures All of the main characters from Deweys books are here and if you like these, then you'll love these

Another great read from Ben Coes.while he featured often in the Dewey Andreas books, I wasn't sure that Rob Tacoma could take Dewey's place. He can. His lethality is awesome. The only problem with a Ben Coes novel is that when it is finished, one has to wait forever for the next one.

I was initially dubious about the plot however this is more than up to form for Mr. Coes.
My only complaint is that the ending felt rushed, and could have been more drawn out. However, this is still a wonderful offering that only leaves you wanting more.
